A new fortress.

It was currently night time, Yayora flew A'tok and herself to the spirit tree. She had spent the day hunting for food, while A'tok slept, it was his way of grief.

Tanhì lands on a higher rock as the siblings come down. Yayora was changed into a black covering and loincloth, to show deep respect for her clan's death.

They walk hand in hand, up to the spirit tree. Once they reach there. They connect their queues and make small prayers to Eywa.

They thought it best if they slept at the spirit tree, where Eywa would keep them safe.

Yayora had her full trust in the great mother, if there's one thing her deceased mother had told her, is that everything happens for a reason.

After praying, Yayora takes out the cooked meat she had prepared a few hours ago, storing them in leaves to keep it fresh.

They begin to eat quietly.

"Yayo?" A'tok's cute little voice calls out.

"Yes?" His sister looks up at him.

"Are we ever going to find a home?" He asks so sincerely that it almost broke Yayora's heart into a million pieces.

"Yes, I believe we will." Yayora assures her little brother. "Don't you worry 'tok, we'll find a home. One we won't be stripped away from. Now finish your food," she smiles dearly.

"Srane, srane" (yes, yes) A'tok rolls his eye cheekily. Yayora ruffles his hair with a chuckle, "you cheeky little nantang" (viperwolf) (The animal that Neytiri saved Jake from in the first movie)

The children soon finish their food and clean up before grabbing a huge sleeping mat and laying it down underneath the tree.

A'tok falls asleep rather quickly while Yayora struggles. She can't help but replay today's events in her mind.

She wipes a stray tear from her face before turning to her side and wishing on a million stars that she'd be alright.

But in reality, all her hope for the future had vanished.

THE NEXT DAY

Yayora wakes up and turns to see A'tok isn't with her. She gets into a state of panic.

"A'tok?!" She shouts, standing up and looking around. "A'tok, where are- you?"

She sighs in relief as she sees her brother playing with his ikran, Nahele.

"There you are" she runs up to him. "Oh hey Yayo, I didn't want to wake you," A'tok informs her.

Yayora shakes her head with a smile, "You're too kind." She climbs up a rock and grabs a minty leaf and pops it into her mouth, chewing it for fresh breath.

She walks back to the tree and thanks the great mother for being blessed with another day.

She then rolls up her sleeping mat and puts it in the sack.

"Wanna go flying like old times?" A'tok asks. "Sure, just let me get dressed," Yayora smiles wholeheartedly.

She looks for an outfit and puts it on. She puts red and white war paint on, just like her mother would.
