Into The Depths.

The air was heavy with tension as Michael's heart raced with fear, his eyes scanning the dark waters of the lake frantically for any sign of Bennett. "Bennett!" he called out, his voice echoing through the stillness of the morning air. But there was no response, no sign of her anywhere.

Dr. Foster rushed to Michael's side, her face pale with concern. "We have to find her," she said, her voice urgent. "We can't just stand here and do nothing."

Michael nodded, his mind racing with a thousand fears and possibilities. "We'll split up," he said, his voice determined. "You search the shore, I'll search the lake. We have to find her before it's too late."

With a sense of urgency driving them forward, Michael and Dr. Foster split up, each searching their assigned area with single-minded focus. The minutes stretched on into hours, but still there was no sign of Bennett, no clue as to where she might have gone.

As the sun began to set on the horizon, casting long shadows across the water, Michael's heart sank with despair. "Where are you, Bennett?" he whispered, his voice barely audible above the sound of the wind.

And then, just as he was about to give up hope, he saw it: a glimmer of red hair, floating just beneath the surface of the water. With a cry of relief, Michael rushed forward, his heart pounding in his chest as he reached out to grab her.

But as he drew closer, his hand outstretched to pull her from the water, the scene before him seemed to blur and distort, as if reality itself were shifting and changing before his eyes. And then, just as he was about to make contact, everything went black.
