Today I finally got a car I could always drive but my mom never had the money to buy me one and I'm forever grateful for the one that I do have because  taking the bus with Haerin has been exhausting you always might be asking yourself doesn't haerin have a car why does she take the bus well because it's not her car it's her dads' but she still uses it once in a while anyways

I need to get ready

Present time school minji POV

"You didn't tell me you were getting a car?!" Hanni exclaimed as she looked at my brand new car "I've known how to drive for two years now it was about time and I also got it yesterday it was an early birthday surprise" I said smiling ear to ear "hey only because you have a car doesn't mean you get to brag" haerin said "this is same car that brought you to school today bragging is necessary" I explained to haerin then I saw Danielle walk by she was staring at my car

I looked right at her and she turned to leave "well you guys I got to go Dani is clearly waiting" hanni told us haerin gave her a sad expression "haerin you come with me if you want" she said to haerin. She nodded and they left hand in hand leaving me all alone "what the actual hell just happened" I whispered to myself as I walked inside

Danielle POV

"So minji has a car now?" I asked "yeah isn't it neat like before she would take the bus everywhere" hanni explained I just stayed silent as I did not know what to say "well we got to go, see you later" haerin cut the silence I waved at them as they left

I walked into class and sat down "Class tomorrow is the day to present your projects they better be good" mrs. Trivago stressed I looked over to minji "did you finish painting the volcano?" I inquired "not yet" she whispered "what do you mean 'not yet' you're so...." voice trailed off and came back "irresponsible"  "how dare you" minji whispered to me I rolled my eyes "after this project we better keep our distance this is my nice way of saying 'get away from me' " I scowled  minji just stayed silent guilt washed over me "I... " I whispered "save it distancing ourselves might be the way to get over each other" she told me

Meanwhile haerin POV

"Wait where's hyein?" Hanni asked "right behind y'all" hyein surprised us "where have you been in the past 2 days" I  asked hyein "family things" she simply responded "okay I guess" I said we all walked to class talking about random stuff going on in our lives

Hanni held my hand the entire time I tried not to focus on it but my heart couldn't as we sat down she let go and just sat down and I did too "why are you two blushing cut it out I've been a third wheel way too many times in my life" Hyein shattered the cute moment I turned around and avoided hanni for the rest of class

I don't know for how long I'm going to keep my crush a secret ....
