Minji's pov

This is the day I'm going to face Danielle's parents after what they did and I'm honestly a mess I've been completely out of it these days and I'm also worried about how secure my mom's job is going to be after this 

"Are you ready? are you wearing the outfit I gave you?  and do you know what to say?" Danielle asked through  the phone I guess she was even more nervous than me "yes,yes, and kinda, I'll be leaving right now" I  responded I heard her sigh then she hung up this better be worth it or it's going to ruin my life 

I got into my car and started to drive

Haerin's pov

"Where the fuck is she? She said she was coming?" Hanni screamed as she looked at the unanswered messages on her phone "how am I supposed to know? she doesn't tell me anything these days it's like when she got a girlfriend she forgot about us or whatever" said enraged at the fact my best friend stopped talking to me "same with Danielle at least we promised to not forget about our friends when we got together" hanni answered then something clicked in my head "they are together like maybe on a date or something  like it" I explained hanni rolled her eyes "we should have been the first ones on a date" she complained "let's have one right now " I told her "okay, then let's go!" Hanni exclaimed

Danielle's pov

I paced around my room feeling the air around me thicken as my nerves took over my body all my brain could think of was if this was the right decision or if this was selfish or both this was more Important than anticipated was in deep thought when suddenly the door bell rang 

I ran down the stairs to open it before anyone else could since I knew it was minji I opened the door and she came inside we hugged and I led the way to the dining hall where everyone in my family was at my parents and my older sister turned to me I nervously sighed "parents, as you might remember this is my girlfriend" I said minji bowed to them "girlfriend?..." my mom asked "yes you heard correctly she's my girlfriend and I love her I have brought her here to show you that she is good for me" I  answered "sit down then" my dad told us minji pulled out my chair then pulled out her own my sister leaned in "where do you find someone like her?" She asked I doubted whether she meant it in a good way or a bad way 

"I don't know what you mean?" I responded in a whisper "so...minji why are you still pursuing our daughter when you know she's engaged to a fine man?" my dad asked her with a raised eyebrow I buried my hands into my face at the question "well...I'm someone she actually likes so I didn't 'pursue' her" minji hesitantly answered I buried my face further into my hands "even if she likes you she's better off with a man" my mom added I groaned I looked over to minji to see a slightly hurt expression "parents if you marry me off I'll do whatever I can to get them to divorce me because I love minji" I told them nonchalantly my parents looked appalled "if you get with her you might not be a part of this family" my mom continued

My sister gasped and so did minji  "you don't have to do this for me" she whispered "don't worry I don't have a future here anyway" I I told her but deep down I was beyond scared "I might not want to be part of this family if it means not getting to be with the person I'm in love with!" I said  in a slightly raised voice "you made your decision then we'll be throwing you out until you come back to your sense" my dad told me "what...I can't believe you would do this to me for such a foolish reason!?" I angrily told them minji stood up "this is all my fault" she said as she turned around to leave I grabbed her by the wrist "this isn't your fault I would go through this a million times if it meant being with you" I told her
