Shooting at a chance

The car we were following finally found it's destination. it was a shady part of the city. I expected it since they probably wouldn't take minji into a place with sunshine and rainbows. We were all worried but Danielle was even more worried than we were she had been looking out the window for more than half the car ride. she would say that she's okay but we all knew that she was not.

"So what do we do now?"  I asked "wait for them to go inside then we follow,haerin." hanni answered "ah, ok." I responded after what seemed like an eternity they finally went in and then we followed. the place was bigger than it seemed it was filled with boxes of random stuff. we hid behind them "does anyone have a plan?" Hyein asked the rest of us stayed quiet. "I guess that's a no." she continued

Minji's pov

"What are you planning to do with me?" I asked because this seemed like a terrible plan. "we're planning to keep you here until you decide to leave my our daughter." Danielle's mother said it was clear that out of the two she was the dumbest. "I don't know if you realized but this plan is horrible. like I've said multiple times that I won't leave her so you can stop trying it's not like you're going to kill me." I told them they stayed quiet and I looked around my eyes landing on some boxes in the corner. I could see a pair of eyes that seemed familiar then it hit me it was Hanni. she signaled something to me but I couldn't understand. "what if we do threaten to kill you or someone close to you?" Danielle's father finally spoke "you're willing to go this far and for what?" I asked 

"Because we want the best for our daughter and you're no where near that." he told me

Danielle's pov

Listening to this conversation makes me want kill myself it ruins my respect for my parents which I never had. it makes me want to go there and hug minji  because I would hate anyone associated with me. 

"Okay what do we do?"  Hanni asked "what do you mean this was supposed to be your plan?" I asked "well.. This was the last part I have no idea what do now" She added "I know what to do, Danielle get out there and try to convince them to let your girlfriend go" hyein told me as she placed  a hand on my shoulder. I could tell she didn't like me as much as the others but right now I could tell she was trying to be nice. "okay then I'll go" I said as I hesitantly stood up.

"You two aren't going to kill anyone!" I screamed my voice going weak at the end I had forgotten that I was facing my parents. "Danielle stay out of this we're doing for your own good!" My mother told me as she tried to hug me I pushed her away. "none of this is for my own good if it was I would be happily dating minji!" I yelled at them Minji smiled a bit. "sorry, but love this is good for you!" My father said as he pulled something out of his pocket I looked closely it was a gun  he pointed it at minji "NO!" I yelled putting myself in between them "get out the way Danielle! Now!" My father told me "no you'll have to shoot through me if you want to kill her." I said standing my ground

Hanni's pov 

"You guys we have to do something we can't let them die" I said hyein and haerin nodded "I have an idea" haerin told us "ok tell us" hyein said "We should just go out and improvise because I forgot what I was going to say." my girlfriend told us "haerin!? Really?" I said "I'm sorry,ok!" She apologized "whatever let's call police it's a much better plan." hyein interrupted  "right" we agreed  then we called them. to be honest we should've done it before but we're not the brightest and our history project shows it since we got a E-. but that's not important right now. 

After a while Danielle's dad dropped his gun but before the police arrived.

Minji's pov 

"So when are you going to shoot me?" I asked sarcastically "not the time for sarcasm babe." Danielle told me in a serious tone  I apologized  "I might rethink shooting you but for now I-" then the door flung open "mr. and Mrs. Marsh you're under arrest for kidnapping and attempted murder"
