Chapter 7 Did you see the mask creak

School life went back to normal and so did Sol's life, as much as it could after Jackson was captured by villains. Sol came to terms with those people, those 'friends', well as much as Sol could and would. It's a month after he was captured and Cooper was taking Keller's class today after his night shift went badly. Keller went against 7 low rank villains, trying to rob a candy store at 3 in the morning. He managed to stop them and arrest them all, but not with out a connection, brocken arm and sprained ankle with some broken ribs. As Cooper starts, the class room full of questions about there teacher he finley saying
"Stop, stop, he is ok, just protacall nothing more now let's start our lesson shall we"
The day go's on, and before Cooper knew it,it was the end of school, as everyone packed their things , dashing to the door he looks up to see Jackson still sitting and come to think about it Sol has been abnormaly quiet so Cooper asks
"Little J. class is over, are you ok?"
Jackson's sighs saying coldly
"No, so say it, what really happened to him?!"
Cooper is taking back and a little lost, on the 'him' Sol speaks of, but then it came to him, maybe, asking softly
"Jackson's you mean Sage"
Jackson's softly nodded with a voice that doesn't match saying
"Fucking say it or I'll fine out"
Max can't help but to giggle saying
"Come now what's the magic word? Hmm"
Much to Cooper surprise Sol said softly
"Please tell me"
After a moment of Cooper getting over the shock saying
"I'm visiting him now, you could come?"
But now Jackson seems to hesitate Max jump in saying
"You don't have to!"
Sol humms saying
"Mother will be upset if I'm late home"
Max smiled saying
"I'm sure she would understand or I could talk to her.."
Sol wave a hand saying
"No need, it's worth it"
Cooper nodded as both left to the parking lot for Max's car, the rid was quite till Max asked
"You like Sage as a teacher hmm?"
After a pause Sol looks at him and very serious said
"I trust my gute, people fuck you over if you let them"
Cooper smiles wide saying with resolve
"So you like your teacher!"
Jackson snotrs saying quietly
"Not worth the cost"
Cooper look worried asking
"You can trust us, or just Sage, if you need something little J please..."
So wave a hand but keeps looking out the side car windows saying barely above a wisper
"It's to late for such things"
Then went silent as they made it to the hospital, Max didn't know what to say so guiding Sol to keller room in silence. As they enter Keller's on the floor doing sit ups as Max said happily
"Hellloo~ Sage I brought a disbelieving gust, Jackson thinks your going to die"
And dramatic pouts at the end, Keller snorts saying to Jackson.
"Please you think I'm that weak kid?!"
Sol shakes his head no saying
"Not at all but if something fuck you to the point of hostaptal amtion then yah.."
As he trails off Keller charges at Sol, Jackson quickly blocks a right hook then a kick to the guts before Keller stops with a smirk saying
"It was me against 7, I'm perfectly fine, just fucking dotting the I's and so on"
Sol nod's looking down with no further input to the covertion, Keller contues by asking
"Come on have some hostaptal jelly with me trouble?"
Copper looks to Jackson seeing his hesitation asked
"Will you keep him company I atchly have something to do, please?"
Sol sighs, but nodded never the less, making there way to the bed, sitting criss cross, facing each other in comfortable silence as they had there jelly cups. Before long Keller broke the silence by asking
"Is everything ok, Max dobed you in, but seriously"
Sol paused for a moment before shying softly then said
"I don't have a strong or normal relationship with Mother, please don't press further, I'll tell you when I can"
Keller looked over Sol's features before nodded saying softly
"You Promise trouble?"
Sol gives no reply just hold out his hand with his pinky finger up, Keller was a little perplexed on this childishly jester but comply never the less. After connecting there pinky with a form shake Keller asks
"Won't to watch Disney?"
Sol snots saying smugly
"Killer Keller wonts to watch kids movies? Really!"
Keller smirks saying
"Yes now come here, Little mermaid is starting!"
Scotches over to one side of the bed so Sol can sit beside him, Sol not wasting a moment sitting next to keller. Halfway through the movie and Keller feels a weight on his shoulder, looking over he see's Jackson fast asleep, Keller is shocked stiff as he's mind racing on so many things. Why dose Jackson in body language trust Keller but in words, won't, why was Jackson so guarded and then completely relaxed, what did he mean 'not a normal relationship with his mother'. Than as he reached a hand to Sol's head, softly stocking his hair he released that he, first off promise to wait for answers and second he would do anything for the children in his arms, his child.
