Chapter 29 There's a future without you

While Cooper was looking after Sol and the interview was happening, Keller went to Raven, as he enters the office only saying
"We have bich to burry"
Raven smiled asking
"Sounds like fun, elaborate"
Keller sites in a chair across from Raven takes a pause before saying
"Sol's at he's interview, he knows the owners, Laura is great on the net, told me to give this to you"
Keller hand him the drive, Raven plugged it into the computer saying
"Oh yes the poly lovers, I also know my way around the net"
Keller chuckles and asks
"So what's on there?"
Raven now deep into the information that the drive stick has provided said
"Oh boy, well.., yep hmm..oh..hm"
With this Keller know its going to be a while till Raven speaks properly again, so go's on his phone and watched his son's interview, his heart akes for how Sol's raw and honest he is being, but then Max come over and sages heart warms, yeh that's his dam family, brocken and dysfunctional, but beautiful.
The interview almost over but Raven is back with the talking saying
"Sage this is extremely exciting, Laura made a fiel that condemns Sol mother for life. I past the information on, it even had location, so she is in jail already, no bail, no trile."
Keller
"Well fuck, good fuck, but dam ok, great"
Raven laughed and said
"These something you don't see everyday,  a shocked Sage"
Keller
"You coming for dinner tonight, I'll see you later"
And gets up to leave, Raven saying to the disappearing figure
"I'll bring sweets!"
Sage waves a hand of anolagment as he exists the office and heads to the shops then home to cook dinner, when home Adi come down, looking around then asked
"Papa where's Sol? everything ok"
Keller node's saying softly
"Yeh had business, I'm making dinner, won't to help?"
Adi excited for his rearly to cook papa, smiled saying
"Hell yes!"
Mid way through making creamy seafood paster, Max and Sol come in, Max surprised to see his husband cooking, he has no patience and the last person he willing cooked for was an ex boyfriend that Sage promptly gave laxative laced curry to when he found out he was cheating on him, so Max asks softly
"Bab your cooking?"
Keller coldly replied
"Dont take that tone with me, it'll be your last anything"
Cooper raised his hands in a surrender quietly say
"And that's why the shock"
Sol laughed and ask
"So must of gone well"
Keller smiled saying
"Three words"
Adi flatly said
"Stone cold dead"
Sol coldly said
"Cold heart bitch"
Cooper smiles wide
"Lost never found"
Keller laughed and said
"Life in jail"
Sol drops to the ground hand flys to his mouth, Keller knees down asks
"Hay you ok, what is it? Just breath Sol"
Sol takes a deep breath and replies
"I love you, but her, I can't help but to look over my shoulder, and know.."
At that he starts traling off when Raven's voice is heard saying sweetly
"You can actually start to live, actually move forward and not back"
Sol node's and Raven said
"Sage said to come for dinner, I brought strawberrie filled cupcakes"
Sol can only nod as he's still on the floor taking deep ragged breath, his mine clearly in another world, Raven asked Sage
"Sage can I hug him?"
Sage snots to cover a smile, a failed attempt but said
"Do what you won't"
Raven Kneeling next to Sol, after a moment Raven leans in and nuzzle the side of his head, purring softly. Sol doesn't waist a second in ingolfing Raven in a firm hug, Raven breath catches out of surprise but then returns to the soft Pur of before. After some time past Sol kissing Raven's check as he gets up saying
"I'm changing before dinner"
Once everyone was at the dinner table and dinner almost over, Sol looks at Raven asks softly
"What's with you and papa"
Raven giggles saying
"Oh would you like to know what a rabel your papa was?!"
Max saying under his breath
"Is!"
Raven happily node's like Max just didn't sign his death certificate with that coment, Raven humms looking off for a moment before reminiscing
"Sage was in his first year of Jenkins, I was only 12 at the time, father kept me close, always, but even back then I had bad habits of staying up all night on the computer, it was mid way through the year and father sent me to get food for myself sence I feel asleep at the computer, again. It was during class so if I was quick I would make it back to father"
Sol snots saying
"Yep, spoiler alert, you didn't make it!"
Sage flaying a hand jesters at Raven saying codly
"Nop, the smat ass idiot has a panic attack instead"
Adi gasps saying
"Oh Raven you were ok right, it's a hero school, right"
Raven shys softly saying
"No, like when I was first found, they pounded on whether I should be feed cat food or not, they ask if animal control was needed"
Sol grunts saying with a clutch jew
"Names please"
Raven smiled with a daydream look saying
"He really is your son Sage"
And giggles before saying
"Sage came over, carmed me, I was to shacked and scared, I couldn't stand so Sage with no concerns scoops me up like a bride walking to father's office"
Sage rub his temple saying
"Yeh didn't get far before, let's not name drop"
Coughing out a simple 'Peacemaker' and continues the story
"Stop us, me, saying codencending
'Is that your anxiety pet'
I promptly smashed my foot in the side of his head, sending him into a locker and to the ground, I then stompt on his head and asked in return 'how dose my anxiety feel to you?, hmm' and walked away"
Adi gaps like a fish before swallowing dryly as Sol beams saying
"Go papa, dam!"
Max sighs saying
"Little J sweet please don't incouge papa, it's beyond words what he can do"
Raven beams saying proudly
"Yes, we become frainds after"
Adi asked
"Did you have further problems?"
Raven giggles like a school girl before Sage said without much emotion
"No, not after a plastic fork to the shoulder of one girl and a brocken wrist of an ass that wonted to pat the neko, not a lot of problems at all"
Raven chiming in without a care about Sage's vilont and coldness, to use to it at this point, Raven saying
"Yep and lucky me had a growth spert, I'm now 6 foot 5"!"
Sage said smugly
"Yah short cakes over here was barely 6 foot when we ment to my 6 foot 6"
Adi finally getting some of his conferences back saying
"Oh papa you were one of thos boys!
Tsk Tsk, size doses matter Mr."
Everyone loses it at that point, Max spirit his water across the table, luckily by now dinner was finished, Raven looks like a giggles toy, even Sage has to hold his ribs as he laughs. The night continues in banter and fun, everyone enjoying there slice of happiness.
