we land. at the airport my mom picks us up because it is easier and i can visit her within my short time period here.
i get a phone call "where are you" my mom asks "uhm gate 3 i think" i say looking around "gate 6 mami" juan corrects me "oh gate 6" i say correcting myself "girl it's your home town how did he know that and you didn't" she says laughing "well he travels a lot" i say rolling my eyes. "i'll see you in a sec" i say hanging up.
"Dev" my mom yells "hey babe" she says hugging me "hey juan" she says hugging him, my moms met Juan before when she came to new york, we went to a game together if you didn't remember.
i'm really nervous for my dads side of the family only because they all love to make connections and are very open about money as with Juan is a lot more successful at a young age and is a lot more humble.
"we're staying at the st. regis" i say "oh i remember when you were a kid and stayed there" she says "i know and me and mads used to have so much fun, went shopping, i miss it" i say smiling at the memory.
"where do you usally stay when you come to toronto" i ask Juan "uhm usually here" he says "very nice place, my buddy Bichette lives here" he adds. - "thank you mom, we'll see you soon" i say hugging her and walking in the hotel, "Dev?" someone says "markus?" i say "omg hey baby, how's your dad" he says hugging me "oh he's good he'll probably come visit this week so you will see him" i say. Markus has been working here since i was young, he and my dad have a good relationship.
"you my girl have such a nice stay i'll see you soon" he says hugging me again "mami come" Juan says when he's done checking in "bye" i walk away.
we take the elevator and open the room door. "on my god, i'm so tired" i say plopping on the bed "im taking a shower you want to join me" Juan says off his shirt.
i giggle and start undressing. _______________ the next morning i wake up and dont see Juan i go to call him but the door unlocks and i hear him walk in wearing his gym clothes.
"hey baby" he says "me and Bichette just hit a workout" he adds kissing me "what is the plan for today?" he asks me "well we can go shopping and then we have my aunts dinner." i say.
