Saturday, November 22nd, 2024 at 10am. Juan is at practice right now. i'm so bored But My boo Mrs springer is in town and i'm so exited to see her.
Char called me saying she was on her way about 20 minutes ago so she should be here any moment.
i'm just sitting watching a movie on the tv trying to get comfortable but with the baby in my stomach it's kind of hard. But then i hear the door unlock "Dev i have a surprise" Char says.
"hey girl i missed you" i say getting up to hug her "And hello to you baby soto" she says kissing my stomach.
"okay what's the surprise" i ask she smiles "what?" i smile back "Im pregnant" she smiles "WHAT oh my god" i start to cry "are you lying to me" i hug her "no I'm for real" "oh my god, oh my god" "how far along" i say putting my hand on her stomach "4 months" she says "our baby's are going to be close together" i say happy and hug her again.
I hear keys at the front door and hear jen walk in "so many people have keys i get scared every time" i say hugging her "sorry Aaron told me to come over and keep you company but char is here, hey girl" jen says hugging her "guess what" char says and she smiles holding her stomach "NO" Jen says happy and hugging her.
But then i feel a pain in my lower abdomen "ow" i say holding it "what's wrong" she asks "no i don't know i just had-ow" i had another one.
And suddenly a puddle appears under me "oh fuck" i say "i think my water just broke" i say "ow fuck, char can you take my too the hospital i say as jen helps me Walk and change.
"OW" the contraction gets worse "holy fuck" i say panting as we get down the elevator and in the car "Can someone call Juan" i say starting to cry from the pain.
"let me time your contractions" Jen says pulling out her phone "ow fuck me" i say as another comes and 1 minute later another fucking one...
Char picks up her phone calling Juan but no answer. She tries again but still No answer. you fucking did this to me now you don't want to answer i swear to god.
she then calls Boone who finally answers "hey can you tell Juan to call me it's an emergency" She says as i scream in pain from yet another contraction.
The phone rings and It's Juan "hello" Juan says "Dev is in labor we're going to the hospital now" she says as another Fucking contraction hits me.
"i need you" i say to him as i die of pain "Breath mami, i'll be there soon" and he hangs up.
We get to the hospital and the doctors take me right in no waiting time when they see. my last name, being married to a superstar really has its perks.
"Okay Mrs Devenity SOTO, oh wow any relation to Juan soto" he laughs as i just look at him while gripping the bed in pain "he's her husband now what" Char says in even more pain since she is the one holding my hand through this.
"where is he" i cry while Char helps me walk around "i need him". "He'll be here soon babe" and with that Juan runs in "awe mami" he says taking Char's spot holding me up and walking around the room "Jen aaron's in the waiting room, you guys are on the task of getting our stuff" Juan says as he tosses her the car keys.
"Okay mrs soto you are 9cm dilated, it's time to take you in" the doctor says as i lay back down, they wheel me to the delivery room with Juan.
"I just wanted to say i'm such a big fan, they should re sign you immediately and i thi- SHUT UP" i scream in pain cutting the starstruck doctor off and yea he shuts up immediately.
Saturday, November 22nd, 2024 at 5pm.
he's perfect. my baby's perfect. he's 7 pounds and 8 ounces with the perfect skin and perfect hair and perfect everything. he's mine.
Jen, Aaron and Charlise walk back in with Some more people Amy is here, Volpe, and last but not least Giancarlo.
"hey guys" Volpe says smiling "holy shit your a dad" G laughs. "yeah well the screaming that she and i quote "i fucking hate you for doing this to me" and the "go fuck yourself"really brought it all together" Juan says looking at me.
"listen i said i was sorry, isn't it enough that i had to birth Your Giant of a child" Jen looks at Aaron who is smirking at her "yea I'm getting a C section" she says taking in the size difference.
"okay you need to sleep, so let's go everyone" Juan says kissing the baby and walking out of the room as i shut my eyes. ____________________________ I wake up and see Juan with his shirt off holding the baby to his chest "Good-morning my love, how was your nap" he says smiling big "How's he doing" "oh my boys strong like his daddy, he's doing great" I smile at the sight of juan being such a great dad in the past 4 hours of even having him.
the doctor then walks in "How are we doing guys" He says with this clipboard "Baby soto is doing great from all the tests, have we picked a name yet" "Juan soto Jr of course" Juan smirks at me.
And yes i lost the vote but his teammates are obviously going to root for him...
"so postpartum will be hard, with the way your labor went you might need a little more help and time, have you tried standing or walking yet?" The doctor asks "No not yet, i don't think i can" "well that's okay, no need to rush anything, take your time" and with that he leaves the room. _____________________________
