chapter twenty-four -Home

It's home day! We can finally go home.

"ready" Juan says smiling and helping me into the wheel chair.

he grabs the bags and the baby as the Nurse pushes me out of the hospital to the car. "Well you all have fun as a family of three" she says Juan lust the baby in and helps me into the car.

I'm in a lot of pain, they said my postpartum will be harder then regular but thank the gods i have a beautiful husband who loves me and i thank the baseball gods that he knocked me up April because if it was season right now i would cry.

"alright, finally home" Juan says getting out of the car and Coming to help me. Char is still here, she's staying until Juan's parents fly in next week to help.

"We're here" Juan says calling her. Char comes down and takes the baby juan wraps my arm around his shoulder and his on my waist putting all my weight on him and taking me up stairs.

"okay mami" he says lying me down on the bed "do you need anything" he asks kissing me "I'm okay baby I'm just going to sleep" i respond fucking drained.

a couple hours later.

I have to pee, i'm in so much fucking pain because all of those stupid meds wore off Juan is next to me with the baby in his hands watching him sleep.

i make a move to get up but pain shoots up my entire body forcing me to drop, Juan gets up quickly putting the baby in his crib and coming around the bed to help me.

"it's okay mami" he says picking me up from off the floor as i clutch my stomach "okay ready?" he says helping me walk to the bathroom "mhm" i say with my eyes closed and mouth shut in pain.

"ow fuck" as i take my first step it feels like I'm being shot and i start to cry "i know baby" Juan looks so helpless, knowing he can't do anything about the pain.

a couple days later juan's mom and dad are here helping big time.
They basically have the baby the whole time and that leaves Juan all to me.

I still can't walk, or even move they said after would be hard but i didn't know they meant this bad.

"Dev bebé" Juan's mom says walking into our room, Juan is sleeping next to me because it's like 3 am.

"sí mamá" i say trying to sit up "El bebé te necesita, mi amor" "okay" "Que pasa?" Juan says walking up.

Juan's mom walks back in the room and hands me the baby walking out.
"alright little man, what's wrong" i say holding him in my arms. He stops crying immediately and i start crying at how cute he is.

"i can't believe we made this beautiful baby" i say "i know" juan clears the tears from me face and kisses the side of my cheek watching the baby.

"you know skin to skin contact, is good for the baby" juan smirks "so it's only been 6 days and you want to get in my pants already" "No i just wanna look, 7 weeks is too long" He groans.

I laugh as i realize these are my boys, one happy family.
