Chapter twenty-six -filler

It has been a few weeks since opening day.
Jazz came and apologized when he and Juan had a conversation.

Juan Soto pov: that day.

Okay, i just gotta tell him. Keep the cool he didn't know.

I walk to the clubhouse after my chat with Dev and it calmed me, she gave me the baby well she went to talk to her boss quick saying how she will not be back under any circumstances for the next 4 months.

That's my girl. 

i walk in and see the boys, they are super hyped that we started off the season on a good note, I see Judge talking to Chisholm most likely letting him know about the situation he caused.

i over hear as i walk over to them.
"you know that's his girl man, that man loves her more then anyone loves anyone.
So if you got bad vibes from Juan today, just know he's not that guy."
Aaron says to jazz as jazz listens.

"hey man" i say "you didn't do anything wrong, you didn't know. I'm sorry i acted out, it's just that i didn't see her before the game and i got a little uptight to everyone not just you" i add.

"I didn't mean to make you feel any type of way, i just talked to her too. And apologized for being an asshole." i continue.

i see aaron get up and put his hands out "come to uncle judgy my guy" he says taking the baby from me. 

"We all love dev and we get a little over protective sometimes, even to him" aaron laughs pointing at me.

"yea man, I'm sorry i didn't know. You got your self a beautiful lady man she is a gem." jazz says "She really is, i don't know how i even got so lucky to have her and let alone her have my babies." i laugh "it is a mystery" Aaron chimes in from the side.

"Trust me everyone in here has tried not just you, Little Volpe over there was trying for 2 years before her and i got married.. Anyways let's put this past us man, it didn't mean anything" i laugh "alright brother" Jazz responds "welcome to the yankees brother, life's better over here" i smile and go fight aaron for my child back.

Devenity sotos pov:
Anyways.
it's yankees day agian.
i'm taking the baby early to hang with the guys and maybe watch his daddy get some cage work in.

we pull up to the stadium at 4 the game starts at 8 so we have lots of time, these guys have been here since 1 pm getting ready for the game.. crazy.

"There is my favourite girl" juan says as i walk into the clubhouse. "aye" some of the guys say in unison "correction there's our favourite, she was ours before she was yours buddy" Boone says "we miss having you around girl" Duggie adds "i know guys but this little sucker makes it worth it" i say looking down at the baby on my hip.

I came with Juan's sister she has the stroller and is talking to a player for the Padres never classified which one.

"Come to uncle G" He walks over taking the baby and kissing my cheek.
"Giancarlo Stanton, what is it that i'm hearing that you have a girlfriend" i say and as soon as he hears his name he starts to smile.

"i mean it's nothing big" "okay so let me meet her" "uhm well your the only one i trust to meet her" he responds "hey!" The guys say.

"we just wanna tell her about what you say to us in the clubhouse" Aaron says putting his hands around his shoulders. "If anyone found out what you guys actually talk about all of you would be canceled" I laugh.

"Yea that's why anyone that's micd up is a trader to the team until they take it off, accept you Juan your always a gem" G laughs.

"he's like a puppy, always happy no matter what." G adds "awe my baby" i say walking over to him putting his face in my hands.

"hold on i have something to show you" G says leaving the room with Jr and coming back.

"Look" G says with a big smile on his face.
"Awe it's so cute i can't" I laugh pulling out my phone taking pictures. G lets him down on the ground and helps him to walk on his own over to juan.

"There's my boy" juan saying picking him up and throwing him up in the air kissing his cheek as the baby giggles.

"Uh-why is my baby wearing a Stanton jersey when we all know his last name is Soto" Juan says looking at the baby, he sits the baby on his lap as the Jr looks up at him "he did that against your will huh" juan says looking down at Jr as he just smiles.

"BP time boys, Dev you coming?" Volpe says running i the room.
"alright Soto ur up first" Judge says in the locker room as juan is always first in the cage.

whenever Juan is hitting in the aches there is always guys watching, trying to get anything from his swing, asking questions and picking his brain.

Juan gets in the cage and starts his routine.
He has exactly 30 minutes to do what he needs to do before the next guy comes in.

Jr is watching close, i think he is really into baseball and will be playing it when he is older maybe for team Dominican.

15 minutes goes by and juan is now full hitting. All the rookies are posted up looking amazed at what they are seeing, The sound of the ball hitting the bat is my favourite sound ever, it really doesn't make me miss softball.

i look down at my knee as the scar is there and wonder, would i have met Juan, would i be working as a yankee, what would have been.

i shake those thoughts as juan comes out of the cage as he basically gets a million guys running up to him.

at that point me and Jr we're sitting on the floor watching all the commotion and having a laugh.

"hey papi" juan says picking the baby up and kissing him on the cheek a million times as he giggles.
"let's go mami" juan says helping me up and i grab the baby's toys.

Tommorow is family day at yankees stadium, so we're going to be doing this again there is going to be ball park fun for the family on our only off day.

This game ended in a loss 2-3 in the 10th inning after juan's great games he is no longer on a hitting streak and is not doing as well at the plate.

Today's loss was actually bad like mis días.

but juan soto's micd up videos were so cute, he's so me on the diamond accept he is actually micd up and not just singing 7 innings worth of Myke towers and bad bunny while i make 3 plays a game.... Outfield is so boring, but I'm looking forward to going back to DR and playing my league cuz we play day night and i love it.

CF is not for the weak...
anyways enough yapping.
(😁 i just learned that word)

oh and this is just a filler chapter nothing special just kuz why not.
