The long-awaited day had finally arrived, marked by the loud rumble of the moving truck as it pulled up in front of our house.

Mom was already in the front, standing tall and authoritative amidst the whirlwind of boxes and bustling movers.

She was directing them with a mix of firm instructions and gentle reminders to be careful. Her eyes scanned every corner of the living room, ensuring nothing was left behind.

Meanwhile, Dad was a picture of calm focus, his attention fixed on his phone as he spoke with the new hospital. His brow furrowed slightly as he listened intently, only occasionally glancing up to check on the progress around him.

From my spot in the garden, I watched as our things were carefully loaded onto the moving truck.

It was going to be a long day.

After the commotion of packing and moving, we finally arrived at our new house.

It was spacious, with a garden that promised endless afternoons of play.

My room had a huge window that offered a clear view of our new street.

Unfortunately, we had to settle in and unpack all the boxes. My parents assured me we'd go out for dinner because, obviously, cooking was out of the question tonight.

As night settled around us, we ventured into a nearby restaurant, its cozy ambiance instantly soothing after a day of upheaval.

The air was thick with the mouthwatering scent of food, teasing our senses as my parents eagerly ordered katsudon and three steaming bowls of ramen. With hunger gnawing at us from the day's efforts, we dove into our meals with gusto.

Amidst the clinking of utensils and murmurs of contentment, a child's laughter caught my attention.

Curious, I glanced around and found its source: a little boy with fluffy green hair, freckles dotting his cheeks, and vibrant green eyes twinkling with joy.

He sat beside his mom, who affectionately tousled his hair as he happily devoured his katsudon, cheeks puffing out with each enthusiastic bite.

In that fleeting moment, amidst the warmth of the restaurant and the comforting bustle of diners around us, my heart skipped a beat

Is that a small Midoriya Izuku?

He looked absolutely adorable, his eyes sparkling with satisfaction as he savored every bite of his meal.

I tried not to stare too obviously, but I couldn't help but smile at the sight of him. I can't believe that as soon as I moved here I would meet him.

I guess I'm lucky.

Returning my attention to my own dinner, thoughts raced through my mind.

If I saw him here, chances were we lived in the same neighborhood. Maybe I'd run into him at the park soon.

Would Bakugo be there too?

Probably.

Did I need to get involved with them right now?

Not really, but the idea of witnessing their childhood was tempting.

As my parents settled the bill and we prepared to leave, I stole one last glance at Midoriya. Our eyes met, and a shy, gummy smile spread across his face in response to mine.

....

A week later, our house was completely settled in. Every box was unpacked, and a sense of comfort settled over us.
