Prompt: Autumn finds out the truth about prom, Winter calms her down

Autumn had never in her life been so hurt, embarrassed, angry about any situation she had ever been in. Everyone knew. Everyone, Marjorie, Charlotte, Reece all the people she cared most about knew the truth about what happened. It wasn't Mia. Mia had nothing to do with what happened between herself and Reece, it was her father's.

He had found her diary on one of his searches, she always hated those growing up, it taught her to be sneaky. She didn't even know it had ever been found and how embarrassing for her that Mia announced to the whole office that she wrote 'Mrs Autumn Killerman' all over it. She didn't even like Kenny Killerman she liked his younger brother Kyle. Her father had orchestrated the whole thing knowing Reece would be mad if he thought she was going out with Kenny, who was multiple years her senior.

She had been humiliated and could feel her anger rising, all she wanted was Winter, she was having a 'I need my boyfriend' moment and she was having it bad. She rushed out of the room and straight to her car to grab her bat, she heard her father running after her but he could see him clutching his jaw, she guessed that Reece had punched him. She could hear him calling her to not hit his car, she didn't care she needed to break something to get her anger out.

She swung her bat back getting ready to break the window of her father's very expensive car. But when she swung the bat never came forward, she could feel the weight of it being held behind her head. "My love, it's me, do you really want to do this?" He had always been good at diffusing her anger and calming her down, but he was also good at letting her do her own thing, always giving her the choice on how to express her emotions. "I need this Winter, let go of the bat" she was so angry, and he wasn't being all that helpful.

"There's other ways this could be solved" he tried to reason with her but even he knew she was too far gone. "I need to break something he cares about, let go of the bat". Winter listened and let go, Autumn hit the front window of the car and full force smashing it into smithereens, the car alarm going off with it.

She stared at what she had just done, a single tear rolling down her face, she turned around to face her boyfriend who was standing with his arms open, she quickly walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist letting out a sigh and trembling slightly. He stroked her hair and held her close. "That's my girl, you're safe now with me I promise" he comforted her in the way she liked. They both knew Roger was looking at them from afar but he was probably more worried about his car more than anything.

"Everyone knows the truth Winter, it was all him, he wanted me and Reece to hate each other so he could control us" she sobbed into his chest, trying to hide her face so no one else could see her get so upset. It was the end of the day and her shift was basically over so she dragged Winter to her car without saying goodbye to anyone and they drove home.

Her knuckles were going white with how hard she was gripping the steering wheel, she slammed on the brakes too hard multiple times and used her horn when it probably wasn't really needed. "Autumn I need you to calm down" he was trying to help, she knew that but his comment made her see red. "Calm down! Are you kidding me Winter, I've just heard my whole prom night was a lie, my father was working against his own children and you're telling me to calm down!". They sat in silence the whole way home after that.

They arrived home and Autumn rushed out of the car, slamming the door not even waiting on Winter to get out, she walked into the house slamming the front door in Winters face, he sighed and ran in after her. He knew emotions weren't her strong suit so had mentally decided this was going to be a long night of calming down his girl.
