Prompt: Autumn comes home from the bar again, Winter wants her to find better coping mechanisms
A/N- Wintumn nation we lost the 9pm vote, although I do love the freaky Friday story so I can't be mad. If Charlotte won't give us Wintumn content I'll do it for her

This was maybe the third time this week Autumn had found herself in her usual seat at the bar. The first two times weren't her fault though. The first time herself and Reece went to discuss Nursery takeover business and ended up getting some food and drinks, the second time was her and Marjorie's monthly girlie night. This time though she was alone.

She had no reason to be in the bar, nothing had happened and no one had invited her there she just never went home from work and ended up there as she walked past. What she did forget to do was let Winter know.

My sweet: Darling, where are you?
My sweet: Aut, are you okay?
My sweet: Your shift finished an hour ago, why aren't you home yet?

Were just a few of the texts she hadn't answered from her sweet boy. She wasn't meaning to make him worried, she just had so much going on and she didn't want to bother him with it all. She was so stressed due to trying to take the nursery from her father she didn't want to bring all of the stress home, so she dealt with it the way she dealt with most things. Drinking.

She could hear her phone buzzing in her bag and she felt so guilty for not responding to him. The waitress, who Autumn had now gotten to know as Sara, brought her over another drink. Autumn and Sara had spoken a few times, she felt bad for Autumn and honestly just wanted to be somewhat of a friend to her, or even someone she could rely on. The only thing Autumn thought she could rely on Sarah for was to bring her another drink.

"Autumn?" She questioned as she brought over the fifth red wine to Aut's table. Autumn looked at her, she was a pretty girl and if she wasn't with Winter she would maybe have taken her home for some fun, not tonight though, she was feeling far too vulnerable for anything like that at the minute.

Sara spoke up again "Are you okay? I've saw you here a few times this week, you seem a bit stressed, is there anything I could help with?" Autumn didn't know if she was genuinely being friendly or if she was trying to flirt but either way she shook her head at the younger girl and put her head down, swirling the wine around in her glass.

Her phone rang again and when she didn't answer she heard the ping of several different messages come through, she knew they'd be from Winter. She hated shutting him out like this but she really didn't want to bring work home with her. So far they had managed to keep a good home/work balance considering they saw each other every single day all the time. Autumn would hate to ruin that by telling him how stressed she was.

She sat there for what felt like hours and was now on drink 7, maybe 8 she had honestly lost count by this point when she heard a familiar voice. "Darling?" She didn't want to look at him, she couldn't, he would be so disappointed in her.

"My love? What happened? How did you end up here?" Autumn still continued to ignore. "Autumn, you can't shut me out like this I'm only trying to help" he was more stern this time, and if Autumn didn't know him all that well she would've flinched at the way he said it to her, because it was Winter she knew she'd be safe.

"Go away" she snapped at him. This was all the alcohol talking, not her. She wanted him near, she always does, but she was scared she would say too much and hurt his feelings.
