While the people of Lake Town began to rebuild their lives, there was still one last loose end. That end was Gandalf still trapped in Dol Guldur. And also hanging in the cage still while the rest of the Orc Army was marching to war.
And he was chanting to try and see if he could contact with Radagast for help. And Radagast was chanting in his home. And Gandalf was chanting in the cage despite being battered and bruised.
One Orc Guard that stayed behind approached Gandalf with his sword bared. He then grabbed the cage from the hook and threw Gandalf into the ground. "Spells will not save you, old man."
But Gandalf's hope and prayers would be answered as Lady Galadriel emerged through the ruins of Dol Guldur opening a gate, barefoot, and her ring shining like a white light in the darkness as she traversed the dark fortress hearing the sounds of Gandalf in pain.
"This is my Master's domain." The Orc told Gandalf as he picked up Gandalf with one arm and threw him forcefully down onto the ground again.
"Die now, Wizard!" The Orc demanded.
But Galadriel had suddenly appeared in front of the Orc and Gandalf, to which the Orc roared then ran at Galadriel. His sword drawn. But Galadriel figured the Orc would do that. Because she lifted her arm, and sent a shockwave of power and energy at the Orc, disintegrating him and lighting up the sky for miles around. And also the loose rubble that flew around from the massive pressure.
Galadriel picked up the wounded Gandalf, very close to death. "Stay with me, Mithrandir." She thought as she walked through the ruins carrying him out.
However, as she approached one area by a cliffside, a voice had suddenly sounded through the air. The voice of Sauron. "Shre nazg golugranu kilmi-nudu." (Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky.)
Galadriel recognized it immeadietly. "Ombi kuzddurbagu gundum-ishi" (Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone.) Sauron went on.
Galadriel finished on her own. "Nine... for mortal men doomed to die." She realized. As she looked around in shock at Nine beings that appeared in corporeal yet partially transparent forms. Each with a weapon like they were ghosts. They surrounded both Galadriel and Gandalf in a circle. Galadriel stumbled back until she was sitting on the pedestal of a ruined statue in a courtyard, with Gandalf in her lap. Gandalf groaned, still weak.
"You cannot fight the shadow. Even now you fade. One light alone in the darkness." Sauron taunted.
But Galadriel looked up with a determined face. "I am not alone."
From behind the Nazgul, emerging out of the ruins, was an armored Elrond who drew out his sword for battle. As well as Saruman with his staff. And also a Phoenix had flown overhead. And landed on the shoulder of Albus Dumbledore who had emerged with fire around him.
"Are you in need of assistance, My Lady?" Saruman asked as 2 of the Nazgul leaped forward in front of Saruman.
"I'm afraid that you cannot destroy all that is good in this world, gentlemen." Dumbledore declared to the Nazgul. All were ready for battle.
"You should have stayed dead." Elrond told the Nazgul. He stepped forward swinging his sword against the Nazgul who were deflecting his shots. A flash of light kept coming as the weapons collided.
Saruman also stepped forward. His staff blasting the Nazgul. One disappearing.
"Stand back, Fawkes." Dumbledore instructed as he shot flames from his wand at the Nazgul. The Nazgul attempted to swing at him, but Dumbledore had casted Protego around him that shielded him from their attacks, and began blasting them back using Depulso. One of them over the cliff edge, but he just emerged up and resumed attacking. It tried to strike at Dumbledore. But a blast from Saruman pushed them into the nearby rock. Saruman continued to fight off at least 4 more of the Nazgul, and he blasted them all back over the cliff.
