As Harry, Hermione, and Bilbo entered the Lonely Mountain, Gandalf was still moved through the abandoned Courtyard incanting a spell to purge out the darkness. He was not done with whatever darkness lay inside the abandoned fortress, or was it?

He walked through a narrow staircase that showed nothing but small towering cages hanging from the ceiling. And then walked down another flight of stairs. Gandalf slammed his staff down again as he reached the bottom. A massive pulse of white light emerged, that was when Azog made his move. He burst out of the light, he took Gandalf completely by surprise and whacked him back with his mace. The staff knocked out of his hand. And his hat.

"Nakhig lo shulun, Sharrukû" (You have come too late, Wizard!) Azog informed as he laughed. "Gorz nash!" (It is done.) He charged again at Gandalf. But Gandalf had aimed his staff, and a powerful force was keeping the Orcs in their tracks.

"Crucio!" A voice had shouted. And it aimed right at Gandalf, causing searing pain to the old wizard. Gandalf fell to his knees. He looked up to see Voldemort calmly walk next to Azog with his wand raised at Gandalf. "So you are the mighty Gandalf?" He assumed. "I must admit, I am a little disappointed. I was hoping for Dumbledore to be here."

Gandalf stood up again. He would not be bullied by Voldemort or Azog. "I suspected you and Azog might be here, Tom. You always did enjoy powerful allies to use."

Voldemort's red eyes glared with hate. "I no longer go by my filthy Father's name! Cruc-"

Gandalf thrust Voldemort and the Orcs back again. "Where is your Master, Azog? Where is he?!" He demanded.

"Ommig shâ zog. Undaguz nag." (He is everywhere. We are legion.) Azog answered.

"Take a look for yourself, Gandalf." Voldemort suggested.

Gandalf looked behind him and then down at an entire army of Orcs gathered within the depths of Dol Guldur.

"And now, this army will march upon the Lonely Mountain, and bring an end to Thorin Oakenshield. Along with Harry Potter. And of course. I shall take something from the Mountain myself." Voldemort boasted. "And not just the Dragon."

"And what would that be?" Gandalf asked his staff raised. But that was when a massive giant snake slithered up near Voldemort. Nagini who hissed at Gandalf and raised her head to Voldemort's height.

"Let's just say... it's something that will preserve my immortality. One can't be too careful." Voldemort answered.

"Murganim." (It is over.) Azog said.

"Not quite!" Gandalf blasted a flash of white light towards the Pale Orc. And in that moment, Gandalf had disappeared.

"Gurid Dum!" (Run him down!) Azog ordered his Orcs.

But Voldemort was not concerned. "We will capture him before long." He assured Azog. "For now we must prepare our forces for war here." Azog looked at Voldemort. "And of course, once I have held up my end of our bargain with your Master, you will come with me to Hogwarts, where the new age of the Wizarding World will begin." Voldemort continued.

Azog nodded. He looked forward to destroying the Muggles and putting them in their rightful place.

"Come, Nagini. We have work to do." Voldemort bayed Nagini to follow, as did Azog.

Gandalf ran forward down one chasm. With a pack of Orcs riding on Wargs trying to run him down. Gandalf approached a stone bridge, causing it to break, and the pursuing Orcs all plummeted down. He kept running forward, but soon enough, he was stopped by a dead end. The sky was suddenly darkening. And Black Clouds started to gather.
