Yukikos POV
I looked out the window as I saw the ambulance take Yuki away. I was shaking and my breathing was uneven. All the possibilities that could happen came flooding to my head. She lost so much blood, she wasn't responding, her sugar was low, she wasn't eating properly a few days ago either. I was filled with worry but it was replaced by anger as I thought about the people who were at fault, and I couldn't contain my anger. I made my way to coaches office with a burning furry inside me, "Yukiko, I hope you're not going where I think you're going" I heard Makoto behind me "not now Makoto" I said "I just don't think it's a good idea, please just breathe and think" she said. I ignored her as I approached the office and slammed the door open.
Inside was coach at her desk, with Sejiohs coach, Oikawa, Iwazumi, and that boy. "You! Are you proud of yourself you little piece of shit!" I let out all my anger and emotion on to the boy as Makoto stood in front of me. "My friend's nasal cavity is deformed because of you! She might not be able to breathe because of you! What the fuck is wrong with you!" I yelled at him. "Yukiko! control yourself!" Coach exclaimed standing from her seat "you're so lucky she can't press charges on your crazy ass! And you!" I pointed to Oikawa "how could you allow a maniac on your team! You set him that ball knowing how violent he is! You call yourself a captain? You don't deserve that title or that jersey! You fucking lost it!". I felt two hands wrap around my arms, "Yukiko! Get a grip!" I heard Rises voice as she lifted me and brought me outside the room.
Makoto shut the door as Rise pinned me against the wall. "Let go of me!" I yelled "You're insane! What's gotten into you, you can't just barge into a meeting like that and verbally assault people!" Rise said. "Let go of me! They deserve it! He nearly killed Yuki!...she nearly died" my tears finally came out of frustration and I stopped fighting back. I felt her grip loosen as I fell into her chest sobbing into her jersey.
Coach gave me the longest talk I've ever received from any adult afterwards and she put me on a one week suspension from playing. My days were long and my nights were sleepless. I've been hearing from people at school that I've fallen off my cycle. The perfect cycle that makes me look like my life is together but it is slowly falling apart. I've skipped showers, stopped brushing my hair, and my grades have been the lowest they've ever been. I've been spending more time in my dorm alone and scrolling mindlessly on my phone. The only thing that was actually getting me through these days were my conversations with Ushijima, even when I was talking to Oikawa I never left him in the air. He has become one of my closest friends and I was very thankful to have him, especially at this time.
Yukiko: "Is it okay if I see you earlier this week?"
Ushijima: "for practice? I would need to see. Is everything ok?"
Yukiko: "I don't know, I just really need someone to talk to"
Ushijima: "...I'll check my schedule...I'm free next Thursday, let's meet at the public volleyball court near your school"
I smiled, I haven't done that in a while. It was one of the few moments where I actually had the motivation to get myself out of bed. I left my dorm and got a few looks by the other people in the halls as I wasn't seen for a couple of days. I ignored their stares and entered the showers for a much needed wash.

Ushijimas POV
I arrived at the court and waited for Hakura-San to arrive. The last couple of practices with her have given me a different feeling than usual. She speaks about Oikawa during our breaks and it brings back that feeling I hate so much. I've accepted that I was jealous of Oikawa when I saw how happy he made Hakura-San. Even if it made me feel bad inside her smile and laugh healed it.
