POV: Olivia

Wow.

That was my first thought when I entered the art exhibit.

It wasn't anything like I have seen before.

It was like I was on acid. There were so many colors for my eyeballs to take in that it was hard to process everything I was seeing.

"¿Qué coño me has traído a Bree?" I said.

(What the fuck have you brought me to Bree?)

Bree elbowed me in my side which I returned with a glare in her direction for the assault on my person.

"I didn't understand all of that, but I could get the gist. It's an exhibit live! An interactive art exhibit!" Bree said excitedly. "Come on! Let's go see all of it!"

Bree grabbed my hand, laced our fingers together, and looked back at me. She smiled like she had just won the lottery and it made my heart jump.

Bree was beautiful.

Stunning, really.

I had always found her to be the most gorgeous woman I had ever seen. But right now...

She was radiant.

Una hermosa mujer con estrellas en los ojos.

(A beautiful woman with stars in her eyes)

The woman was in her element.

Bree's eyes scanned each and every inch of what was around us. She soaked in the exhibit with hawk-like precision. All the while she chatted happily with me about anything and everything. She talked about it with such passion that it made me sad for her. She once told me she wasn't good enough to be in a gallery, but I disagreed. Her stuff was amazing. She really could have made it big but didn't have the confidence in herself to pursue her dream.

It was one of the things I regretted.

I should have been here.

I should have pushed her to do what she loved.

Why was I such a coward?

Was I so fragile that I couldn't handle it if Bree hadn't returned my feelin-

"Liv. Liv? You, ok?" Bree asked, looking at me with concern in her eyes.

"Never been better. Where to next?" I asked, trying to divert the attention from me.

Bree rolled her eyes at me, but she marched onward to the next destination, nonetheless. Our next stop was a forest exhibit that kept on brand and was filled with every color in the rainbow. It reminded me of Avatar. And I mean the movie. Not the show.

"Isn't this cool Liv? It's like they made their very own miniature forest inside the building!" Bree said, her excitement palpable. "And look at all the colors! I bet you can appreciate a rainbow, huh?"

My eyebrow arched at that last bit, but all Bree did was giggle at my questioning look.

"It is pretty cool. I wonder how they made it?" I questioned.

"Hmmm... I'm not sure. Maybe they used foam? It would be easily malleable and would be cost effective." Bree replied.

"Whatever they used, it looks incredible. Whoever did this bit could make sets for movies." I said, as we walked under one of the bridges that was floating above our heads.
