"Not surprising!" Tiaki swung his sword at Achernar as he walked inside the door after Leigh who ran to Esther's side.
The sun sliced down any evil contaminating the demonic demon's house of horrors along with her moon and stars who had the half seraphim's back. Soon, the clock would strike and it would be midnight. Evilness would rise on All Hallow's Day. Achernar caught the seventh deadly sin of pride's blade which grazed his arm. Leigh's brother wasn't healing as the tar-like blood dripped to the ground.
"Now that isn't a very nice way to greet the owner of this home." Achernar raised his injured hand which was still bleeding, calling off the forces his father had sent. "Achernar! Why are we not surprised at this point? Should have known you were the owner of this haunted mansion of horrors. What a sick trick! There's no way you can possibly be this rich. Did you kill the previous owner of this place?" Spica raised his blade pointing directly at the demon's heart. Achernar threw his hands up in the air innocently.
"My, oh my. You offend me! I have earned enough of my own money to live a life of luxury. Unlike you poor stars. I could give each of you this place as a gift for Hallow's Eve if you'd like."
"Nu uh! No way. This rich dump is mad haunted. The place is cursed!" Naos stuck out her tongue in disgust. "Not quite," Achernar responded seemingly amused. "You're the one haunting this place." Aljanah was on fire, literally. She was ready to charge straight at him, but Dschubba held the seventh deadly sin of wrath back. "I'd appreciate it if my beloved abode is not yet set aflame. You see, I did not invite all of you twinkling little stars here to fight. However, if you're in such a fighting spirit, I would be more than happy enough to oblige in helping to put on a grand finale. Outside, if we may please and thank you for coming." Achernar dumped his basket of candy onto a nearby table which was embedded in pure gold, tossing the bucket aside.
Before anyone could do or say anything, the demon started coughing up inky specks of blood. Each of the stars' eyes widened in shock as they hadn't anticipated that the villain himself appeared to be unwell. What an unexpected surprise. Should they attack him in his moment of weakness in order to take Achernar down for good? Perhaps not in his own home... Nonetheless, evil was evil. Gotta do what you gotta do for the sake of the world.
Nobody moved an inch as they watched Achernar stagger, bracing himself onto the wall to hold himself up. He seemed injured as blood was beginning to seep through his clothing around his stomach which the demon held, hands all bloody. No one noticed before of the weariness clouding the villain's scarred face and the dark circles adorning his sunken cheeks. Achernar smiled whilst wincing, trying to mask his obvious pain. The villain himself was suffering for good, facing the consequences of his evil actions from all those he'd made suffer. "Tsk. Oh dear." Achernar coughed into an uncontrollable fit, hands tainted bloodied from covering his mouth. His voice was hoarse and it sounded like he was struggling to breathe properly.
