Esther could hear voices calling her name to wake up. She sprung up letting out a gasp. Her head hit something, or someone when she sat up so suddenly.
Leigh knelt down in front of her, holding his nose which was bleeding. "Leigh! Y-You're bleeding! I'm so sorry!" Esther summoned her own divine weapon of holiness and cut away pieces of fabric from her shirt. The sun wiped the blood away from her best friend's nose which was still bleeding. "It's fine, don't worry about it." Leigh held his head back looking upwards for the bleeding to stop. "You've got a thick skull damn. Almost knocked me out. I could have died," He laughed. Esther laughed with him. "You besties are funny." Vega was there too. The three stars had gotten separated from the others. "What happened?" Esther asked. "We don't know. I hope we're not in hell though." Vega shrugged. Leigh plugged one of his nose nostrils with a small piece of fabric. Now the three stars burst out laughing all together. "Okay take a look around. This is serious you guys." Vega stopped laughing abruptly. The friendly seventh deadly sin of lust was the type of person who could be smiling and then have the best poker face of seriousness. He could be laughing one moment and then act as if he hadn't laughed at all.
Esther, Leigh, and Vega all had a friendly lust for a break. The stars couldn't catch a break. At least they caught each other. The stars had one another. Red lightning struck the ground where they stood. Esther had to bite back a scream. Whatever dimension they happened to be in was freezing cold. The skies were all dark and cloudy. Dead plants surrounded the floor of this world. Esther was shivering, her teeth chattering. Her best friend and lust both removed their sweaters to offer to Esther. The sun took both of Leigh's and Vega's sweatshirts gratefully, thanking the two. "It's cold," Vega could see his breath airing out when he spoke. He and Leigh hugged their sun, providing some warmth for Esther. Don't get jealous now girlies! Author is jealous of Esther.
The sun herself couldn't even get flustered now any longer. She had her moon waiting for her. The rest of her stars were the best of friends, Esther wished she could warm them all up somehow. The sun wasn't shining, the cold bothered the stars greatly. Three stars walked endlessly in the freezing rigid cold, ending up nowhere. There was no shelter. Sooner or later, they'd freeze to death. Wherever you are, the sun will always be by the stars' side. It didn't matter if they weren't able to be altogether. Our sun shines through the coldest of darkness.
The three stars shivered, huddling close against each other. "You know we could warm ourselves up if we took our clothes off." Vega suggested with a flirty smile to tease them. Esther and Leigh's faces got redder than the color of Vega's dyed hair which was...wait. "Hell no. No way, not a chance in hell—" Leigh stammered through his teeth which chattered. "No need to be so shy. We're all the best of friends here. Showing some skin is nothing if it means saving our lives and not freezing to our deaths," Vega teasingly lifted up his shirt, flashing a sneak peak of his hidden six pack of abs. He often worked out with Scheat, lust and sloth having steamy workout sessions. "Vega!" Esther blurted out with her hands over her eyes. "You— Y-You look different. Your hair and eyes changed color!" The sun succeeded in convincing the seventh deadly sin of lust not to have them all strip. Esther and Leigh would rather die.
"Oh really, is that so?" Vega chuckled at how easy it was for him to fluster others. He never got tired of messing around with people in that sense. Lust's hair was back to being chestnut brown and his eyes were that of a blue gold, no longer being vampy red full of lustfulness. "Wow," Esther was staring at Vega dreamily to which the seventh deadly sin of lust winked all seductively at her. The sun looked away and Leigh snickered. Not to worry, Orion would never have any competition, he's her moon of perfection after all, literally Esther's muse. The sun only had eyes for her fallen star. Sorry Vega! Worry not, for his heart belonged to that of the seventh deadly sin of sloth. The three stars consisting of the sun, a half demon, and lust mustered up all of their strength and courage in not breaking down. The cold burned through their skin, devouring them whole, devoid of any warmth and light. Esther needed to be the sun, for she was the sun herself.
