It was now the third day, Rigel's condition wasn't getting any better.

If the stars couldn't find a cure for the archangel's sickness by nightfall, they would end up losing their star. When an angel dies, they do come back as a star, and if they choose to become an angel of God once more, it takes a cycle of one hundred years for them to be reborn again. It would take decades especially when choosing to be reincarnated as a human. Rigel wouldn't choose to become human even if he wanted to, because he felt as though he hasn't fulfilled his duties of an archangel of God until the very end. He was faltering. The stars could even wait a thousand years, hell that would be nothing for them. They didn't want to go on living though because without one of their best and brightest stars, that being Rigel, to wait forever would be excruciatingly painful, but they would wait an eternity for each other. This would not be the end for this star. The sun, moon, and other stars will fight the night in order for their precious star to keep on shining bright.

"Please Esther I can't lose you too, I'm already losing my brother. I've lost everything, I have nothing left if you go out there and—" Orion was breaking apart, his whole world was crumbling down on him. His dearest brother Rigel was dying. The moon swore to protect his related star and failed. Now his sun wanted to put herself in danger if it meant finding any means necessary for a cure. He couldn't lose Rigel, neither could Orion lose Esther who had become his whole universe. If he ended up losing both his brother and his sun...Orion felt everything crashing down on him all at once. He just couldn't breathe. The weight of the universe was suffocating him.

Losing his wings was one thing. Losing his purity was another. Orion couldn't lose everything. Rigel and Esther, the two being his reasons for living. If they didn't exist, Orion would have let himself die long ago when he had lost his wings. Rigel was his blood and Esther was his wings in which he regained back through all he'd lost. Why did this have to happen? Why? Orion felt like he was falling endlessly nonstop. He had already fallen. What more did life want from him? He would gladly give up his life to save his brother.

"You still have me, Orion. You have all of me. I know there's a chance of us losing each other, but we have to take that risk. We will always find our way back to each other. Even if we have to wait a thousand years. Rigel will come back to us. If I die, that's better than losing your brother who's been with you since the beginning of time itself. I'll come back fully as an angel, remember? Cassiopeia and my mom said it'll only take 3 days. My life isn't worth more than Rigel's—" Esther held back her tears as she wiped away Orion's. She couldn't do a thing as the sun for her crying moon. Her heart was breaking. All of the stars' were drowning in a never ending amount of pain and sorrow. What did Rigel do to deserve this? All he did was give some of his love to a demon which helped purify Achernar's cold blackened heart. So why was he the one lying down weak and helpless in bed dying?
