"Of all people, how did I end up getting stuck here in hell with you? I can't believe it!" Aljanah had set herself on fire without meaning to, the seventh deadly sin of wrath still being mad at Tiaki for waking her up, yet again.
"How mean you are being! More so than usual. I can't tell whether you actually hate or love me after all this time," the seventh deadly sin of pride had his hands on his hips sassily, pointing at Aljanah. The two deadly sins examined their surroundings. They had woken up in a confined space. There was no light except for Aljanah's fire which was dangerously close to burning Tiaki. "It's a mixture of both, you big dope." Aljanah grumbled trying to keep her cool. "LOWER YOUR SPIRITUAL PRESSURE ITSYGO! CAPTAIN COMMANDER—" Tiaki yelled in her ears. "WOULD YOU SHUT UP?" Aljanah was breathing heavily, trying not to panic. A noose was around her neck as well as Tiaki's. How could he be making jokes even at a time like this? It seemed as though they were in a wooden coffin of some sort. Not good. If she could burn her way through, wouldn't the wood have burned already? Aljanah lowered her flames as best as she possibly could. She was just so furious all of the time. "Try burning us out of here." Tiaki said. "Can't you see I'm trying—" Aljanah was about to snap at the seventh deadly sin of pride again until she noticed him shaking like a leaf. Tiaki's worst fear was being buried alive. Not only were they buried alive, they would be burned alive at the same time. Aljanah sighed, understanding why Tiaki was trying to joke around for their sake. If he didnt, he would end up dying in a panic. So would she for the matter because her flames were barely able to do a thing to get them out of there.
"It's okay. We'll get out of here, I promise." Aljanah said softly. She reached over to squeeze Tiaki's hands which were shaky. "Of course! Whichever foul creature of evil did this to us will feel the Wrath of Pride!" Tiaki's voice shook while doing his utmost best to compose himself. He knew that Aljanah was scared too no matter how hard she'd try not to show it. He could see the terror in her eyes, masking how he'd felt. She had been hanged and burned to death. Now she was being buried alive along with him. Wrath and pride held back burning tears for each other's sakes. "Aljanah...is it me or do you look different? You look exactly like how I remembered meeting you 7 centuries ago. Still beautiful as always!" Tiaki pointed out to Aljanah who was appearing as a boy, before she had undergone the procedure in the year of 2020 to become fully a woman.
"Your hair is different too. Not purple anymore," Aljanah noticed how Tiaki's hair was light ash blond. "Cool. It suits you." He smiled at Tiaki who couldn't stop shaking. Aljanah wanted to panic himself, but what good would panicking do? It wouldn't help them get out of this. Tiaki flipped his hair proudly. "You look better than me anyhow as a man or woman whatever, my heart still flutters for you my fairness!" Tiaki blew kisses at Aljanah. "Too lovey dovey. Ew, my ears. Same dude. If you put a wig on, you'd make a fine woman. Fine young specimen indeed even though you're old as hell." Aljanah couldn't help but laugh. Laughter is the best medicine in any situation it seems, even if you're minutes away from death.
"We may be old, I'm older than you, but we're gold!" Tiaki let out his windshield wiping laugh that sounded extremely forced this time. Fear was creeping up on the deadly sins of wrath and pride. "Is it me or is it getting hotter in here? And it's not just because I'm hot," Aljanah choked. "It's not just hot because of you, it's hot because of me too! But it is getting hotter right now," Tiaki struggled to breathe. Aljanah felt like the air was getting sucked out of him. The wooden coffin was becoming unbearably scorching hot, almost as if it was being set on fire. Aljanah kicked and Tiaki pounded his fists against the prison holding them, it just wouldn't break. "Fuck it," Aljanah swore and took out his fiery sword. Tiaki's purple gleaming weapon materialized from his aura as well. Nothing the seventh deadly sins of wrath and pride seemed to do work. Aljanah's wrath of flames weren't enough to get them out. Tiaki swallowed his nervousness down. His heart rate was going so rapidly he thought he'd end up fainting.
Aljanah's hands shook. He couldn't think, nor could he breathe. The seventh deadly sin of wrath felt like he would have a panic attack. Claustrophobia was settling in on that of wrath and pride. They wouldn't burn, for wrath and pride had one another, never would they face hell alone. Aljanah and Tiaki wore an invisible jumpsuit, preparing to jump through the fire and let themselves burn aflame if that was the only way to get out of this hell alive. Wrath and pride hath no fear.
