{Book 3} Dying felt like flying.
There is no escaping the eminence of dancing with time. Shadows are all around us in remembrance. Deep within the heart, mind, and soul sparks the very flames to ignite. From the ashes, we're rising. -- Mia B. Gemin...

Spica and Dschubba had both awoken to dark waters of murkiness surrounding them. The seventh deadly sins of greed and envy were drowning.
They weren't able to swim ashore because there was a huge guillotine above their heads, awaiting to behead the stars. Dschubba was sinking further down. Her greatest fear was that of drowning to death. Spica reached out for her, taking her hand. He couldn't swim them ashore. His worst nightmare was being beheaded. Greed pulled envy into his arms. Tears spilled out of the stars' eyes which became an ocean of their tears, fears, and sorrows.
Dschubba tried to speak, but she couldn't talk underwater. She and Spica couldn't breathe and were slowly drowning. If they swam to the top, their heads would be cut off. Time was running out. Waves of greedy envy pushed Spica and Dschubba further down into the darkness. They could hear evil whispers shouting "Off with their heads!" This triggered Spica greatly. Further and further downwards greed and envy sank into the pits of everlasting horrors. Henceforth and evermore so, they held their breaths together, holding onto one another.
Spica could feel Dschubba shaking in fear as she sobbed. He held her close, mouthing that everything was going to be okay even though they didn't know if they'd make it out of this alive. They had to. An idea sprung into Dschubba's head as she and Spica were running out of air to hold onto. She pointed upwards. Spica was shaking his head no. Dschubba mouthed to trust her as she grabbed him, swimming up. The only way to survive this was to go through the guillotine and avoid getting beheaded. They could do this.
Dschubba's sword appeared in her hands, the green luminescent light lighting the way. Spica used his sword's light and put all of his trust into the seventh deadly sin of envy. Greed would trust her with his life just like any of the deadly sins would including the other stars. Dschubba always had a plan with that brilliant brain of hers. If Spica wasn't so scared out of his mind, he would have kissed her to give envy more air. Together, hand in hand, they swam to shore. The guillotine dropped to take their heads. Dschubba pushed Spica out of the way as she stood there, a look of determance on her face. She looked so beautiful and didn't even know it. Spica almost forgot that Dschubba was just about to be beheaded. Greed called out to envy.
There was no fear in Dschubba's eyes for she wasn't drowning anymore. The seventh deadly sin of envy was as fearless as ever. As the guillotine's blade came raining down upon her, she raised her weapon up high. The blade of the guillotine crashed down on Dschubba's sword, the guillotine breaking apart. The goddess of destruction destroyed the instrument of their deaths with ease.
Spica ran over to kiss her. Dschubba embraced him, kissing him back. Greed and envy anchored one another. But it wasn't over yet. The water was rising at a rapid pace. They couldn't fly. "We need to climb my fairy prince of light," Dschubba said in between breaths as she let go of Spica. Greed smiled, blindingly pure of love and envy climbed up the broken guillotine. As long as they had each other, they'll make it out of this prison of hell to make it back to their stars. They had to. There was no escape but the stars would find one, even if it meant creating their own way out. The stars could never be taken down as long as they had one another, for they shined their heavenly light from God through hell. They'd make it back home, all together. Once they were real. Reality waits for the stars to come back.
Once
by Brad Caleb Kane
You change in front of me
Your eyes get darker every day It happens quietly Your focus slowly burns away
And if you let me hear The things you seem to want to say Though I am late I will wait to go until I know you're somewhere safe
And even if you chose To lock yourself away If I listen close I can almost hear you say
Once I was real Once I was somebody's child Once I could feel Some feeling once in a while Once I was here Once I was somebody's friend Once I appear I will be real again
You're falling into it An inescapable release Or something intimate Between the you that no one sees
Is there a way inside? You only hide from enemies Cause I'll wait I'm afraid you won't get rid of me so easily
And even if you chose To lock the world away If I listen close I can almost hear you say
Once I was real Once I had something to lose Once I could feel Once I was harder to bruise Once I was here Once I was willing to bend Once I appear I will be real once again
You're falling farther than I've ever seen you fall before For me to wonder when I'll recognize you anymore
To see no light inside your eyes at all To bang my head against the wall And force myself to watch you pull away
And even if you chose To lock the world away If I listen close I can almost hear you say
Once I was real Once I was somebody's child Once I could feel Some feeling once in awhile Once I was here Once I was somebody's friend Once I appear I will be here once again Once I was real Once I was somebody's child Once I could feel Some feeling once in awhile Once I was here Once I somebody's friend Once I appear I will be real once again
