Charlie's POV

I wake up the next morning in Louis' bed. I look beside me to see that Louis is not there. Did he ever return home? Is he okay?

Just as I begin to panic a little, the bedroom door clicks and a wet hair, towel covered Louis walks in. Water droplets falling from the tips of his hair and the mixture of water and the sunlight peeking through the window reflecting off of his tattoos. A small scruff on his chin that I secretly hope is not going to be shaven. He is truly the most amazing thing I have ever seen. In spite of everything I hate about him, he is one thing I can rarely take my eyes off of.

"Louis?" My morning voice speaks out as he walks over to me and leans in to kiss my cheek.

What's up with his sweet gesture?

"Morning," he whispers in my ear, his scruff tickling my neck, causing me to giggle.

"Good morning, why are you in a good mood?" I turn my head to ask him and he smiles at me.

"No reason," he walks over to his closet to get dressed. He picks up a white t shirt with some black sweat pants. After staring at him intensely as he gets dressed, he lays on the bed beside me.

"Why were you upset yesterday?" I decide that now would be the perfect time to ask.

"I just needed to clear my mind a bit," he shrugs and wraps an arm around me.

Usually, I would snuggle up close to him but he seems guilty of something.

"What?" He notices me glaring at him.

"Clear your mind? You expect me to believe that?" I raise an eyebrow at him and he rolls his tiny blue eyes.

"Yes."

"No. You are lying. What was the problem yesterday?" I ask again, stern.

"Nothing, I had a lot on my mind. Can we please let this topic go before this day is ruined?" He begs and I sigh in defeat.

"Fine," I pout but Louis doesn't seem to care.

"So what did you do yesterday?" Louis pulls me closer to him since I have yet to do so myself.

"I had a nice conversation with Harry," I tell him and he furrows his eyebrows as a look of confusion spreads on his face.

"About..?" He presses.

"You," I answer simply.

"Why?"

"To clear my mind," I use his previous words against him and he releases me, making me realize how cold the room was and how warm he was keeping me.

"What the hell were you and Harry talking about me for?" He loses all sense of humor which leads to my frown because I like playful Louis. But, playful Louis doesn't last very long.

"Calm down," I laugh "just venting a little. We go through a lot so I have a lot of venting to do. Plus, you seem too close to Linda.."

"I am not at all close with that whiney bitch and I never will be," Louis cuts me off for his commentary "and did anyone bring up Madison?"

He has a point, maybe I should get closer to Madison. Me and her could hangout and complain about our boyfriends. Although, she probably doesn't have much to complain about because Harry is a great guy. I'm the one who has to deal with the asshole.

"Good idea, I should hang out with Madison sometime. A girl to vent to. Do you have her number?" I reach over for my phone but Louis' hand grabbing my arm stops me.
