Really Short Horror Stories

This thing exists???

I forgot I even had a wattpad account for a good five years and got a pretty rude awakening when someone voted for this 12 times in a row (if you're reading this I love you). A lot has changed since then, and if you're interested to know why I haven't been active in forever... here goes.

Story time: I wrote this when I was 10 using my mum's iPad. Looking back some stories were pretty good for a 10 year old, but still. I wrote it when I was 10.

I'll admit 10-year-old me got lazy sometimes and grabbed a story or two from other writers on different sites just to keep up with the update schedule. I didn't really understand giving proper credit and reposting with permission, new to the internet that I was, and now that I'm older I'm considering removing those chapters. After all, none of them were mine to begin with, and that defeats the point of writing, doesn't it?

You'll notice that the first story in this series is much longer than the others. That's because I only wrote this series to try and promote my creepypasta OC. Who would've thought the kid on the internet in 2016 was into creepypastas? In retrospect, that story was kinda bad. Unpronounceable name that sounds like an Ed Sheeran album aside, the plot was also just a generic revenge fantasy. I think I even had the guy's backstory planned out.

If it's any consolation I've retained my love for horror over the years, and have found so many more stories that I like. I mostly write fanfiction these days, but I do want to try writing something original eventually. Wattpad in its... current state is not appealing to me, so I'm mostly on AO3 these days, under the username a.seagulls.hubris.
