There's this old skull of a primate or something in the science lab at my school. It's got a sign on it that says:DO NOT TOUCH UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Honestly, I can't see what's so dangerous about it; it's just a large piece of keratin or whatever in the shape of a skull. The teachers are always warning us not to touch it, like it might explode at any moment.
Anyway, that skull has something about it that interests me. Whenever I'm in the lab, I just feel this urge to touch the thing, to ignore that sign and put one of my fingers on it........
I couldn't resist the urge anymore, so at midnight I sneaked into the school and picked the lock on the door of the science lab. There it was, sitting on the table near the entrance. Without hesitating, I stretched out my right hand, pulled off the DO NOT TOUCH sign, and touched the large domed part of the skull.
I waited a few seconds, resisting the temptation to laugh out loud at the teachers. It didn't blow up, after all......
Two moments later, it was clear why they didn't want us to touch it.
A deep, demonic voice sounded out behind me. 'Well, it did say DO NOT TOUCH, did it?'
