The sound of gunshots echoed through the Tower as Lía and her team fought the intruders. There was a fierce determination in their hearts, but also a sense of urgency. They knew they had to stop the attackers before they caused more damage.
Lía moved with agility, her mind analyzing her every move as she faced her enemies. There was something about this situation that didn't make sense to her, something that was beyond her comprehension. As she felled another attacker, her mind focused on Garrick and the words she had spoken before the attack.
—Lía, be careful! —Ana yelled, pulling her out of her thoughts just in time to dodge a blow.
They focused on repelling the attack, eliminating the intruders one by one. But as the battle raged around them, Lía couldn't shake the feeling that they were being manipulated, that they were fighting something bigger than they could see.
Finally, the intruders were defeated and the Tower became calm once again. Lía joined Ana and Marcos in the control room, her mind buzzing with questions and suspicions.
"This was not a simple coordinated attack," she said, her voice strained. —There was a strategy behind this, someone who knew exactly when and where to attack.
Marcos nodded, his expression grim.
"Looks like Garrick was right," he said. There are forces at play that go beyond what we can see.
Ana looked at Lía curiously, her gaze filled with her determination.
-What are we going to do now? "She," she asked.
Lía clenched her fists, her mind working at full speed. She knew they had to find out who was behind this attack and why they were so determined to wreak havoc on the city.
"I'm going to talk to Garrick again," she said, her voice firm. —I think he knows more than what he has told us so far.
She headed towards the interrogation room with determined steps, her mind full of questions and doubts. Upon entering the room, she found Garrick looking at her with an enigmatic smile.
"I knew you'd come back," she said, her tone full of mockery.
Lía ignored him and sat in front of him, her gaze penetrating.
—What do you know about the attacks on the Tower? she asked, her voice full of determination.
Garrick looked at her calmly, his eyes shining with a spark of malice.
"You know I'm not going to tell you anything," she replied. —But I will tell you this: there are forces at play that you can't even imagine. And if you're not careful, they will drag you into the darkness.
Lía felt a chill run down her spine. There was something in the way Garrick spoke, something that told her he was telling the truth. But before she could press him further, a scream echoed through the halls of the Tower.
Without hesitation, Lía ran out of the room, her mind spinning as she tried to understand what was happening. There was a hidden truth in this situation, a truth that was about to be revealed. And Lía was determined to discover it, whatever the cost.
