Next up, some interesting facts about Crimson Rose, which as of June 13th, 2024, is my favorite story in the series.

This story was being written around the time Sonic Mania Plus was coming out, and if you remember, the selling point of that game was being Mighty and Ray, and I'm guessing they were fresh on my mind at the time I was writing this story, so that's why they appeared, I don't actually remember.

I didn't really want to originally have Sally as the main antagonist of this story as I don't really like the concept of having Sally as a bad guy, just as much as I don't like having Amy as a bad guy, especially in stories where Sonic is coupled up with someone else other than Amy as its more common with her than Sally. I sat on my porch for about 45 minutes having an internal discussion trying to figure out who else could work, but I couldn't think of anyone who would make sense but Sally, so I forced myself to cast her as the villian basically the same way Sam Rami was forced to use Venom in Spider-Man 3.

Night Babylon always stuck out to me as an interesting locale, so I wanted a chapter to somewhat expand it a little besides it just having Club Rouge.

In Chapter 7, we see Sonic talk to Sally for the first time since their breakup, in which Sonic slightly referenced to in Chapter 4 of Cobalt Rose. You don't know exactly how they broke up just yet, but after what Sally did do and what she said about Amy was enough to put Sonic to a point where he physically put his hands on her in public. Remember that Sonic has a short temper and pop off real quick when pushed.

Ah, yes, Chapter 10, the infamous Sally and Amy scene that surprisingly not a soul has actually torn apart. So what exactly happened here? Honestly, I don't have a logical answer. I just got caught in the moment. I guess we could call it a 'writer's high'.

I thought it would be interesting to have Sonic be the one get kidnapped instead of Amy, then have Amy turn into the main protagonist as I had never done anything like that before.

So Karson, just like Sarah, had a little bit of history prior to this story, though not as extensive as hers. Karson first appeared in 'Sonic Future' as the only child of Knuckles and Tikal, but obviously now his mother is Rouge instead, and he's not an only child.

In Chapter 13, we'll never know what dark secret Scourge is hiding from everyone. What could it be and is it really that shameful?

Yes, Chapter 14 is pretty much just a glorified cum joke. I'm sorry.

Yes, Turquoise Hill and the briefly mentioned Gigalopolis are geographically located on South Island and yes, I randomly decided to put Bunnie and Antione in the story. I gave them kids, though I completely forgot that they actually had official kids in the '30 Years Later' Arc of Sonic Universe, so that has a chance to be addressed later on down the road.

As to why the characters didn't immediately think to go to Castle Acorn to find Sally is because they assumed that everyone in New Mobotropolis didn't know of Sally's true motives and that she didn't want everyone to let them know of her plan and see her in an evil spotlight. Well, that's what I'm going with.

Chapter 19 has a bunch of characters appear (Julie-Su, Lein-Da, The Prowers, Shard, and Fiona) that I pretty much just through in there so that's why Julie-Su was a bad guy for like 7 minutes.

I feel as if those who immediately went from Violet Rose to Crimson Rose were surprised to see Glare back so quick in the story, as well as with some backstory added to his character, backstory that makes his kiss with Amy in the previous story very weird.

So prior to Chapter 24, I wonder how many people were really thinking Sonic was falling back in love with Sally. You should have known better.

So the reason I went with Amy vs. Glare for the final fight instead of Amy vs. Sally was just straight up how the writing went down. Amy's attention went from tracking Sally down to getting revenge for her family and saving Sarah from Glare. Plus, Sonic managed to take care of Sally and get himself out of that jam.

Chapter 26 starts out with Sonic trying to escape Castle Acorn but can't find the exit. Now, if you've read the Archie comics, you'll most likely know that Sonic takes about a thousand trips into that castle, so you're probably asking how the hell is he getting lost? He should know the place inside and out. Well, Sally access to an area Sonic had no clue about and took him through a shortcut that was one way only. He has no clue where the conventual way down there is, or at least he didn't until he began his escape.

Also, I would like to take a moment to say that the comments from @hc256578 were really funny and cool. So thanks for taking the time to leave those on the chapters.
