So now it's time to check out the fourth story in the series, Sunshine Rose, which, to be honest, at this point in time (October 3, 2024), is my least favorite in the series, mainly because the first half just feels boring to be, but I managed to pick it up in the second half with the whole "Maria Returning" Saga. But I won't be giving a whole summary, that's for you to read if you haven't already, this is for background information, so I will go ahead and get right to that.

I might be with the A.K.A guy when he says that a prologue in the fourth story is a little weird, but figuring that there was a 3-year time skip, I felt as if it was needed. Plus, the A.K.A guy is a hater anyway.

Precious gets her name from a fanfiction know as 'The Future of Mobius', in which she was the youngest child of Shadow and Rouge. Though it was unfinished, It's worth a read. The reason why I picked it was it really did seem like a name that Rouge would give her daughter, and a name that she would have to beg Knuckles to agree to, which was also probably the exact thing she had to do with Shadow in that story as well. I will not deny that Sonic gets bored waiting for Tails to make repairs.

It was only a matter of time before I brought Marine into the story, and this was the most casual way to do so.

Going off Shadow meeting Marine in Issue 1 of Sonic Universe, it was safe to say that he wasn't going to like her here either.

So, the explanation on how Eggman managed to bring Maria back as a flesh and blood hedgehog and not a robot is something that wasn't explained at all at any point really, so we'll do it here. By reading his grandfather's journal, Eggman learned that Gerald have been working on a formula on how to pretty much successfully create a flesh and blood body, but couldn't finish it before Space Colony ARK was raided. Eggman, with his genius, managed to fully realize the idea and planned to use Maria as his assistant and a weapon against Sonic and the others, especially Shadow for obvious reasons. He also managed to recreate her memories, or at least her memories on the ARK, but intentionally not giving them back to her in fear of her joining Sonic and the heroes, but instead keeping them as a potential bargaining chip if he ever needed to persuade her in decision making.

Sonic's line about the eyes being a window to the soul is an actual line.

Shadow infiltrating Eggmna's Base is actually based off of a chapter from 'The Future of Mobius', but funny enough, it isn't Shadow, but his son in the story, and he isn't infiltrating an ACTIVE Eggman base, but an abandoned one.

The password for the folder is probably pretty simple, Egg is Eggman, which, knowing Eggman, anything of his is going to have Egg involved in it. 91, being for 1991, the year he first appeared in, and Drive, which is a reference to the Sega Mega Drive, but where I come from, it's the Genesis.

It still shocks me that it took all the way to the fourth story for Super Sonic to finally appear.

And that's all I have for this story. It's been the shortest to this point so there's not really a whole lot I have for this one. Keep an eye out for me installments for this right here and hopefully it won't be as long for the next entry.
