Episode Eleven
...

The pits of the Yakuza Labatory Complex were designed to entrap and confuse those not of Yakuza allegiance. The complex was built underneath a mountain range built on private property that the Yakuza acquired over fifty years ago after the fall of Reo Yuki's criminal empire. The Yakuza, which were already forced underground, took his land and moved from the city to the outskirts in order to avoid suspicion as they regained their power. Consolidating resources and building power that couldn't be easily built if they were watched by the public eye.

Overhaul had ascended to the throne after the death of Eri's grandfather and father. Using this, he planned to raise the Yakuza from the ashes of their shame and bring a new age under Yakuza supremacy.

Endeavor would have to die, but it wouldn’t end with him. The systematic annihilation of all heroes big and small. The restructuring of society would have to begin with the eradication of the faith the civilians had in the heroes who held power over their heads.

Sitting in his office, Overhaul clicked through the newsfeed until he reached Sakura TV, seeing Stain drive a sword through the heart of Kamui Woods on live television. A smile crept across his face. This is what he needed, a hero killer in the flesh.

Inside of his draw held plans, not just any plan's but the grand plan. It had taken years to find someone like Dabi, and now that he was awakened, it was only a matter of time before the scales of power shifted. The Hero Killer was another beast entirely. If he had both assets, things would be different. Plans could be accelerated, and the rise of Yakuza power over the nation of Japan would be achieved.

"A loose canon who kills heroes and a pyromaniac who wants to watch society burn." Overhaul said to himself as he read the notes over to himself once more. It wouldn't be smart, and considering the pyromaniac was Giran's adopted son, it would cause issues to agitate their treaty.

Calling it a treaty was an exaggeration, it was more of a deal between like-minded individuals who had a common enemy. That being said, Overhaul believed that Endeavor was more of an obstacle for Giran than a true enemy, but he was committed to the cause through the treaty.

The Yakuza boss sighed as he stepped out of his office, walking down the halls. It was quiet at this time, but that being said, it was always quiet in the underbelly of the complex. The sounds of pipes and clatter of movement never really carried that far. It was an empty feeling that sat with Overhaul.

If he could naturally obtain the cooperation of the Hero killer, he would accept it. Just incase he had a back up plan that involved the future Yakuza aire.

Eri was a part of the plan, not that Overhaul hadn't prepared for her death. Still, as long as she lived, the plan was guaranteed. Years of planning and waiting would pay off, and he would crush the entirety of the Hero world. The foolish pros wouldn't see it coming as they would either die or watch the Yakuza gain dominance.

Yakuza Agents sometimes wandered the halls, along with scientists and members of the Eight Precipits Of Death. Overhauls elite task force that were completely loyal to him. Yet it was not loyalty that would secure victory the hundreds of dead Yakuza members could speak to that truth.

Overhaul had spoken to grandparents of active members, learned of the purges led by the crime eradication initiative created in secret by Nana Shimura. The Yakuza, Liberation Army, and The Reo Yuki's gathered alliance were all crushed in a span of a year, all to draw out a hidden villain rumored to be called All For One. Voted by politicians and enforced by the top loyal heros who pledged themselves to the cause.

While most were arrested, the conditions of the prisons led to mass deaths as infection spread through the prisons. In the end, it was for nothing as Shimura had successfully drew him out only for her to get killed. It was a tragedy, but one Overhaul wouldn't shed tears for.

The past couldn't be changed, and Overhaul accepted that fact. He learned long ago that the future is all that mattered. He wouldn't lose, and he wouldn't fail. The future belonged to his reborn Yakuza, the legions he assembled under his name would march further onto a new Era.

He chuckled under his breath, remembering when he learned of the fates of those who stood by Nana Shimura's side, remembering that one hero had survived the execution. He was old, but he had a useful power one that would come in handy for the battlefield ahead of them. "Gran Torino, I wonder if you remember the name of those who died for your so-called victory."

*Author's Note*

This makes me want to write a prequel based on Nana Shimura, it's an unexplored Era in terms of both cannon and fan fiction. I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
