Episode Sixteen
...

Dabi watched his sister leave, the way she walked so similar to his own yet different enough to make him question his own strides. He wondered if he should have gotten her number, but he hadn't, and he couldn't change the past.

He couldn't keep getting distracted by the pain of his past connections. The realization that he himself had his own weakness in the form of his sister was something he would deal with once the heist was over.

"Sir, can I help you." The voice of an older teller called out to Dabi. She had a tinge of attitude but nothing that made Dabi consider her to be a liability in any shape or form.

Dabi gathered his thoughts and stepped forward to face the teller. "Yes, you can help me." He said proudly much to the tellers' annoyance.

"Do you have an account with us?" The teller asked with an extremely disinterested tone of voice. She seemed to hate her job with a severe passion. The burning desire to leave a crushing job was relatable, dealing with Hawks was a pain for Dabi to deal with.

"I don't and do you want to know why." Dabi began to say before the teller yawned in his face as if he were giving a Ted talk on watching grass grow. Dabi himself had found those sort of Ted Talks interesting, but his reference still held up inside of his mind. If it was good enough for his mind it was good enough to be a thought in his head.

"Sir I really don't care, are you going to open an account or exit the bank?." the teller said in annoyance. She didn't want to help him open an account, but it was better than dealing with an unregistered customer. She found their kind to be disgusting sub human trash, the absolute worst to associate with at any cost.

Dabi growled, and with a spin of his hand, he set the desk ablaze with bright blue flames. "Attention, everyone. If you value your life and living a burn free tomorrow, you will get on the ground and kiss it like you're on your honeymoon." The masked man yelled loud enough to terrify even the teller. Her eyes changed from those of complete boredom to all comprehensive fear.

Some people took it upon themselves to panic, but with a wave, Dabi encapsulated the room in blue flames. His skill at manipulating flames had greatly increased after Izuku’s procedure was undergone. This allowed him a higher form of mastery over the range and power of his flames. This control nearly rivaled the mastery his own father had after almost fifty years of having the quirk.

He alone could hold the bank hostage but what he could not do is get the money from the vaults. To do such a task he would need to have a much greater efficiency in his flames. This is where Hawks and Izuku came in as the Teller quickly handed him a slip of paper.

The paper held the code that opened the vault, it was under direct protocol that if a bank were robbed, the vault code should be given. It was a way to catch criminals by accelerating their crimes while also making sure no innocents got hurt. Out of all the protocols created during the Era Of Peace, this was one of the few that actually held up.

If the teller had refused or had been difficult, then they would have had to eliminate her and go at the vault the hard way. That would be messy and certainly led to the trio not getting even an eighth of what they would make out with the vault code.

He sent a text to Izuku's phone and sat down in the center of the bank, the rooms floor had become black and stained. "As corrupted as the staff you hired, huh?" The man said to himself, the words slipping out of his teeth like rats in a heated metal pot.

...

Izuku got the text and nodded to Hawks, who walked towards the massive vault doors hidden underneath Dabi's feet. Izuku didn't doubt that Dabi would get things done however he had to admit he felt relief that Dabi had gotten the codes.

He didn't wait for Hawks to confirm that he had gotten the signal and he went to work getting the vault open. A robotic voice called out to any who witnessed its audio. "Ten minutes until vault unlock confirmation." Izuku thought about it and then it hit him like a bus on ketamine. He shook his head and whipped around to Hawks, who was confused.

"What's wrong? we expected to wait ten minutes." Hawks said his tone showing zero signs that he was aware of what had just happened.

"Ths Confirmation goes to the hero association, when the vault opens a hero arrives within ten minutes meaning Dabi is going to have company." Izuku explained much to Hawk's dismay. Izuku wasn't worried about Dabi going against a single hero, but if Dabi went against multiple heroes, then it would be a larger issue.

"Does he know?" Hawks asked much to Izuku’s irritation. The boys eyes seeming to sink deeper as he prepared himself to reassue a grown adult.

"He knows, the plan needs to continue. we can trust Dabi to fulfill his end of the deal." Izuku said sternly. Knowing that Hawks was the absolute worst person to be stuck with in this situation. However Izuku had faith that everything would easily and absolutely work out in his favor.
