Episode Three
...

The Limousine pulled into a giant warehouse located by the water. Owned by one of Giran's many aliases it allowed him to exchange and store goods from across the pacific. The docks sector was a place law enforcement often avoided as it wasn't worth the trouble. Heroes also avoided the area as there was no fame in these back alley criminals.

Everyone had a reason to stay where they were and Giran was smart enough to stay out of the spotlight. Despite owning a limousine all other forms of transportation were discreet and built with avoiding detection as its main priority. He was taking risks in order to earn Izuku's favor but these were risks he was willing to take.

Once inside Giran motioned for Izuku to get out which Izuku was more than happy to do. Once he stepped out he looked in amazement at all that surrounded him.

Work benches filled with hero tools were everywhere with parts and crates filled with supplies. Izuku could recognize I-Island labels and logos plastered on different crates. These were professional hero gear parts that were normally only avaliable for pro heroes.

Materials imported from all over the world with replicas of costumes worn by heroes from all over the world. Fabrics that could withstand the greatest flames and the most chilling frost. Clothing such as these could only be described as eternal.

Giran noticed how impressed Izuku was and smiled. He had bought all of this to keep the boy's intrest and it was good to see his investment paid off.

"You see Izuku you have a natural talent that I find to be very useful." Giran explained pointing to all of the crates.

"Wait me, I can't make hero gear." Izuku protested. Uncertainty and fear acted like a cloak of self doubt, a shroud that he couldn't shake off.

Giran expexted this reaction and in fact he had expexted it. Observing Izuku for as long as he had taught him many things and one was that Izuku didn’t have an ego. Congratulate the boy all you want he had a huge layer of self doubt that blocked out postive support. It wasn’t as if he was broken but yet full.

"Don't worry about passing or failing, how about we make a deal Izuku." Giran said smiling while making sure to spread his arms in order to make Izuku look over the room. This would tempt Izuku into accepting the deal, in fact it would assure Izuku said yes.

"What is the deal?" Izuku questioned shakily.

"After school you come here and work here and just use your imagination to create something you can be proud of." Giran said with a smile. Another ploy but one that would get Izuku hook line and not to mention sinker.

"I can make anything I want?" Izuku asked unsure if Giran meant what he said. An adult having that much faith in him seemed unreal, almost as if he were in a dream. Considering the day's events it wouldn't be shocking to Izuku if her in some dreamlike state.

Giran nodded. "You can create and dream to your hearts content." The words were exactly what Izuku wanted to hear. By simply putting faith in the boy Giran's plan had succeeded.

"I'll do it!" Izuku said excitedly with a joyful smile.

In the background Dabi held back a scoff. He had no intention of interfering with Giran's plans but he found the pandering to have no purpose. There were far more direct means to gain Izuku's allegiance but those were admittedly cruel.

After being taken in by Giran, Dabi had to admit that he had grown less cold. Emotions were still something he hid but he wasn't as prone to violence before communication.

He was given a choice and the ability to choose what he wanted from life. Izuku now had that same choice however he wasn't being saved. Fate hadn't shackled the boy down like it had Dabi. This was the difference that split them yet the difference that would create a bond over the coming months.
