"you know," i started. "i never thought painting a room could be so... romantic."
saylor squinted at me. "romantic? we're covered in paint. you literally have a grey streak in your hair now."
"oh that's what that is?" i touched my head. "i thought i was just going prematurely grey from stress."
"what could possible be stressing you out? it's not like you're a celebrity or anything," she joked.
"ha ha," i mocked. "now i gotta wash this shit out."
"no don't," saylor started. "i think it looks distinguished, very george clooney."
"thanks," i grinned. "i aim to please. speaking of aim..."
i then flicked my paint brush at saylor, causing paint to splash onto her.
her mouth dropped. "billie!" she exclaimed before chuckling.
"oops my bad," i giggled. "guess i'll just have to make it up to you."
"oh?" she rose her eyebrows. "and how do we plan on doing that?" she folded her arms.
"come here i'll show you," i said under my breath.
"no way you being freaky when fifty percent of your body is covered in paint," she chuckled.
"shut up," i laughed. "you know, this grey is really starting to grow on me. it's kind of calming."
"yeah, like you," saylor looked at me. "you calm me."
i poked my lip out. "oh stop."
"im serious," she went on. "you've been really supportive and motivating through this skating season."
"well why wouldn't i?" i looked at her. "that's what girlfriends are forrr."
"you're right," she nodded. "im just really appreciative of you."
"oh moony," i blushed. "you know i'll always be here for you."
"thanks," she grinned. "cause im damn sure gonna need you tomorrow."
"oh trust me i know," i nodded. "it's the nationals competition."
"it's not just any nationals competition," saylor started. "it's the nationals competition that will decide if im going to be in the olympics or not."
"i know baby, i know."
so despite the crazy things that occurred during saylor's season so far: dealing with the loss of paige, the harassment from quinn, and just the media riding both her and i dicks, she's still been able to do really well on the ice rink.
