The tournament is in full swing, and Yami Yugi, in his Pharaoh form, is standing off to the side, observing the matches. He feels a familiar yet mysterious presence approaching him. Turning, he sees a striking young woman with an air of confidence and authority.
Yami Yugi: (eyes narrowing slightly) "Who are you?"
Diana: (smiling warmly) "My name is Diana. I believe we have much to discuss, Pharaoh."
Yami Yugi is taken aback by her familiarity and the strange pull he feels towards her. They move to a quieter corner of the venue to talk.
Yami Yugi: "You seem familiar, yet I cannot place where I've seen you before. Tell me, Diana, what brings you to this tournament?"
Diana: "I am the Queen of Games in my own right, but I came here seeking answers. Like you, I have memories and fragments of a past life that I cannot fully understand."
Yami Yugi: (curious) "A past life? What do you mean?"
Diana: "I was once a Greek princess, living a life of luxury and responsibility. But somehow, I ended up here, in this time and place, much like you. I feel a connection to you, Atem."
Yami Yugi's eyes widen at the mention of his true name, and he feels a deep resonance with her story.
Yami Yugi: "Atem... It has been so long since anyone called me that. Diana, do you... remember me?"
Diana: "I do. I believe we were very close. Perhaps even destined for each other."
Yami Yugi is silent for a moment, lost in thought. Then he looks at Diana with a soft, yet determined gaze.
Yami Yugi: "Diana, would you accompany me for a walk? There is much I wish to learn about you."
Diana: (smiling) "I would love to."
They walk back towards the main area, arms hooked together, feeling a growing bond. Tea, seeing them together, walks up with a displeased expression.
Tea: (annoyed) "Yugi, what's going on? Who is she?"
Yami Yugi: (sternly) "Tea, this is Diana. She is... someone very important to me. Please, respect that."
Tea: (crossing her arms) "Important? Yugi, you barely know her!"
Yami Yugi's eyes flash with anger as he pulls Diana closer, protectively wrapping his arms around her.
Yami Yugi: "That's enough, Tea. You do not understand the connection we share."
Diana gently places a hand on Yami Yugi's chest, calming him.
Diana: "Atem, it's alright. She doesn't know."
The use of his ancient name sends a shockwave of memories through Yami Yugi. He staggers, leaning heavily on Diana as images of their past life together flood his mind. He sees them as children, betrothed and deeply in love.
Yami Yugi: (whispering) "Diana... we were... engaged."
He caresses her hair and kisses her temple. Diana, panicked, holds him tightly, her lips pressing to his cheek in worry.
Diana: "Atem, please, stay with me. Don't leave me again."
Yami Yugi regains his composure, looking into her eyes with profound love. He kisses her back passionately, then picks her up gently.
