2 weeks later...

After taking her doctor gown off and hanged it on the hanger stand, Caitlin took her handbag and exited her office room. She took the elevator down to the lobby and making her way to the main entrance of the hospital.

Two weeks has passed since... since their 'start over' and everything was going well. She has finally collected her car back from the workshop last week and doesn't need to disturb Bea to send her to work anymore. But even so, when she noticed her exhaustion after a long day work, she will offer to send her and Isabelle. She doesn't want her to drive with her tired mind. Just like today. When she woke up and saw her still sleeping soundly, she insists to drive her to the hospital. She even ended her meeting early and was now waiting for her outside.

Is she happy with the new beginning and the new Bea? Of course she is happy. Her changes have brought a new life to both Isabelle and her. The sudden happiness that came to them was too overwhelming and until now she still couldn't believe that all these are real. These two weeks has been the happiest moment of her life.

Bea De Leon... the woman that she has loved for the past seven years, the woman that has neglected her for the past seven years... she is now trying to make things work between them, she is trying to change, trying to be a better father and... trying to be a better wife. She felt grateful for what she got now.

"Doctor Caitlin..."

As Caitlin walking towards the entrance, someone suddenly called her from the back. She stopped her steps and turned around to see who was calling her. A polite smile slowly spread across her face when she saw the person.

"Doctor Caitlin." A man, who was in his late thirties returned her smile as he walked towards her. His hands were holding a bouquet of flowers.

"Hi, Mr. Sato." Caitlin recognized him. He is the father of one of her patients.

Mr. Sato stopped in front of her and smiled again. "I was looking for you and the nurse told me you went home. I was thinking to leave just now but saw you coming out from the elevator."

"Ah... I was about to leave too." Caitlin nodded. "But... why are you looking for me? Is Akiro okay? I remember he was discharged last week."

"He is fine. Thanks to you, our baby Akiro is very healthy now." Mr. Sato said with a smile of appreciation. "I purposely came here today to give you this." He spoke again and handed the flowers to her. "Thank you so much for taking care of my son."

"T-This..." Caitlin was taken aback by the sudden gift and doesn't know what to say. "Mr.Sato... you don't have to do this. Akiro is my patient and it's my job to take care of him. And this flowers... you shouldn't waste money on this."

"No, no, no." Mr. Sato shook his head. "My wife work in a florist shop. This flower doesn't cost much. It's just a gift to express our gratitude to you Doc Caitlin." He paused and looked at the flowers. "It's tulips. We hope you like it."

Caitlin nodded. "Of course I like it. Thank you so much, Mr. Sato. Please send my regards to Mrs. Sato and Akiro."

Mr. Sato smiled and bowed politely at her. "I think I'm going to make a move now and stop bothering you."

"Please don't say that. Thanks for the flowers. I'll see you again on Akiro's next appointment." Caitlin said.

As Caitlin and Mr. Sato were busy talking to each other, she didn't realized that not far away from where they were standing, Bea was looking at them and saw the whole incident. Although she couldn't hear what they were talking about, but their gestures were enough to make the blood burning in her veins.
