They moved into different home to a bigger one as Bea thought that their family is growing.De Leon Mansion...
Garden...
Bea pulled Caitlin straight to the garden the moment they stepped out of the house. When she stopped walking and just stood in the middle of the garden looking at her, she become more confused and looked around.
"What are you doing?" Caitlin pulled her hand away and looked back at her with a curious gaze. "What are we doing here? It's almost Christmas now. They are waiting for us in the house to unwrap the presents."
Bea smiled as she gazed deeply into her eyes. Although the garden was dark but with the soft lights shining through from the house and the car porch, she can still see her clearly and was mesmerized by her beautiful eyes that were glistening in the dark.
"That's why we are here. I want to give you your present first before you receive any gift from anyone else." She paused and let out another smile.
Caitlin looked up and saw the shining stars glowing in the dark sky above them.
Caitlin looked back at Bea and smiled at her. "You don't have to give me anything, your presence, taking care of us is already enough for me."
"I want to give you this, I want to make up for all what I've done in the past. I want to do this to you. I want to give everything that you deserved." Beatriz smiled confidently."Okay." Caitlin nodded her head. "Looking at your confident expression, I'm sure you have prepare something to amaze me." She paused and glanced around the garden. "Where is my present?"
Another wide smiles spread across her face before she took hold of her hand and gently pulled her towards one of the pine trees. And just when they stood in front of it, she took a small remote control out and pressed the red button.
Caitlin let out a startle gasp when the pine tree suddenly lit up by the bright and colourful lights that was hanging around the tree. It looked even more beautiful. As Beatriz pulled her closer to the tree, she saw a red ribbon was tied into a huge bow around the trunk.
"I'm giving this to you now." She said as she pulled her hand away from her.
Caitlin looked at her in confusion. "Give me what?"
"Your Christmas present." She smiled. "Take a look." She turned to the tree, held the ribbon up and put it in her hand. "Pull it." She commanded softly in her ear.
Caitlin stared at her for a moment before she turned to the tree and took a closer look at the bow. As she look clearly, her eyes grew wider when she saw something was tied together with the bow. "W-What is that? It's... blinking."
"Go closer and see it yourself." She said.
Taking a deep inhale of breath, Caitlin took another step forward and gently pulled the ribbon down, untangled the bow.
Just before the ribbon fall off, something dropped out from it and Bea quickly reached out to catch it.
Caitlin turned to her with her big curious eyes. The blinking thing that fell off from the ribbon was now in her hand, her fingers closed tightly around it.
"What is that?" She asked again.
Bea looked at her curious expression and smiled. "Hmmm... Its a necklace." She said as she slowly loosened her grip and showed her palm.
Her hand slowly moved towards her when she saw a necklace with a beautiful pendant. It was a diamond heart shape pendant with two tiny heart charms hanging on the big heart.
Bea could feel her heart thudding tremendously fast in her chest and she has to clench her jaw to stop herself from shaking. This was the first time she felt so nervous. Looking at her with an expectant gaze, she inhaled a deep breath before she spoke again. "There is a meaning behind this necklace."
