Blazing Regalia

Chapter XI: World?

Lua wakes up in an unfamiliar environment, she sits up and notices that she's wearing an all black tracksuit, she gets up to explore her environment, It looks like a dimly lit dojo of some kind. Before she can make sense of her surroundings, a door opens on the opposite side of the room and a few men wearing kendo equipment walk in.

???: "She's awake! Get her!"

Lua, startled from the sudden yelling, runs to get a sword from the wall. The swords they wield are real and not wooden for a reason unknown to Lua. She grabs the sword and enters a defensive stance as the men attack. Despite not knowing how to wield a sword, she deflects the men's strikes perfectly and counterattacks, a quick over-headed slash to one mans chest. It connects, draws blood, and decapacitates the man. The other two men back up briefly before continuing to attack. One man lunges forwards striking from below with an underhanded slash aimed at her chin, but Lua side-steps and avoids the strike, prompting her own in response. She spins and slashes horizontally, but the man leaps over her blade, landing behind her. He lunges his sword forwards but Lua, maintaining her momentum, spins and kicks the man's sword, launching it out of his hands, before she stabs him in the stomach. She removes her sword from him and swipes the blood away. The last man shouts.

???: "Kazeyo, teki o fukitobase!" ("Wind, Blast away my enemy!")

Before Lua can try to understand the man, she is suddenly struck with a strong gust of wind, pinning her against the wall. The man slowly approaches, flaunting his sword in victory. But before he reaches Lua, the wall behind her breaks due to the strong winds and she is blasted out of the room. Outside of the room is nothing; she begins falling, the dojo room was suspended in the sky all along. While falling Lua notices a flying building, she turns herself upright and strengthens her legs, kicking the air with all her might and breaking her fall. She closes her eyes and briefly feels her body lose momentum. She opens her eyes and she notices herself laying atop the strange building, that's also floating in the air. She walks to the edge of the building to see nothing but clouds below her. She casts a single foot over the ledge, before she plummets downwards. She closes her eyes and the falling sensation disappears. 

She reawakens to find herself lying upon the clouds, she looks around, there is nothing above nor beside her. Confused, she roams along the clouds until eventually she notices a spec of matter in the distance. She squints her eyes and notices a black sphere. As she approaches, the sphere gets larger and larger until its larger than Lua herself. She extends her hand, it begins to levitate towards the sphere, slowly losing its ability to resist. Lua slowly gravitates towards the sphere, before it completely engulfs her.
