Chapter 67 ~ Capricorn's Payback

No One's P.O.V

Most of the sky knight were fast asleep at the time, while Aries and Deimos were awake making breakfast for everyone while Capricorn stayed near the radio to keep tabs and jotted down everything the Storm Hawks were learning about the Far Side, while he kept himself busy Dove woke up first when she spotted Libra alone in the medical tent cleaning the tools. Dove build up the courage and walked up to the medical tent to go talk to him, as he was finishing cleaning the equipment Dove cleared her throat and spoke.

Dove: Hello, I know we haven't formally met but... My name is Dove
Libra: Libra, nice to meet you
Dove: Um... I was wondering about why you chose to be a medic?
Libra:... Well, the truth is, it's became of mi mama
Dove: Your mother?
Libra: Yeah, my mother, Venus is ill and I work day and night trying to figure out a cure for my mother. So far I've gotten nothing but I'm this close to finding a cure and pretty soon my mom can be up and strong again
Dove: That's... That's incredible, you must really cherish your mother so much
Libra: I do, which is why I chose to be a medic, to help those in need as much as I can so that they can be with their loved ones and family

Dove admired Libra's ambition as she felt flustered but also a heart skip a beat, she thought of him as a silent type but he truly has a soft spot for the people around him and his parents.

Dove: Libra, there's something I have to tell you
Libra: Hm? What is it?
Dove: I... I think that-
Deimos: Breakfast is ready everyone, dig in~!!
Libra: Oh, looks like breakfast is ready, we should go ahead and dig in before we're left with leftovers
Dove: [frown] O-Of course
Libra: Would you like to join me, I usually stick with Aries, Taurus, and Cancer but I don't mind sitting next to you. I'd actually like to get to know you and your home terra
Dove: [smiles] That is very thoughtful of you, thank you

Dove and Libra went to the picnic table and sat down next to each other, while Scoprio and Ravess join them along with Starling and Leo, they ate breakfast and chatted while the rest of the Zodiac boys except for Capricorn who happened to be contacting the Storm Hawks. They were pouting and watching the couples talk and get along.

Taurus: This is so unfair
Aries: C'mon guys, don't you know that every female is looking for the strongest male
Taurus: But what about personality?
Cancer: I'm gonna die a virgin
Taurus: Don't worry brotha, we have each other's back. As long we both find the love of our lives, we stick together!
Aries: Seriously?
Pisces: Hey, where's Capricorn? He doesn't usually miss a breakfast
Deimos: The poor boy misses the love of his life, I already handed him his dish. Nothing to worry about, besides boys, what could go wrong?

Harrier: WE HAVE A SITUATION!!!!!!
Scorpio: Huh?! What happened?!
Suzy Lu: It's Carver!!! The ex Sky Knight escaped!!!
Deimos: I would like to point out that I had nothing to do with jinxing it
Celenia: Ya think, Pendejo? Sky Knights!! Rally up and search the perimeter!! Secure every escape route!!

Every sky knight got moving and sounded the alarm as they scattered and searched for Carver, however none of the sky knights could find him. They secured their airship and skimmers, while Capricorn had contact with the Storm Hawks.

Capricorn: Storm Hawks!! Can you hear us?
Aerrow [Radio]: We hear you! What's up?
Capricorn: Well~ we got problems here
Mags [Radio]: What happened?! Still have Cyclonians?
Capricorn: Nope
Mags [Radio]: Nightcrawlers?
Capricorn: Nope
Mags [Radio]: Murk Raiders?
Capricorn: Not even close
Mags [Radio]: Well what could be worse than Cyclonians and Nightcrawlers
Capricorn: Well~
