Chapter 80 ~ Quincenera Makeup

Piper [Narrating]: Squadron Log, as we fly across Atmos things have been going well lately, and Cyclonis did more things to redeem herself over the past few days. She released Gundstaff's family and allowed them to return back to him as he thanks Cyclonis, so now Gundstaff crystal inventory was open for sky knights to come by if they even need crystals. We even went to that Western Area that Finn, Luna, and Radarr went as well faced the enemy they encountered name Roughneck and dealt with him with the squadron that Finn helped forged calling themselves the Ultra Dudes, knowing Finn he was the one who came up with that name. So we took it upon ourselves to make them the sheriff of the town while Luna calls them The Sheriff Fangs, it was a nice touch and they seem to like it. After so many adventures we decided to take a break at Terra Celestial for now, since Celenia contacted us about something she wanted to do for Luna. Who knows what it could be

Luna payed a visit at Celenia's home as she greeted Cyclonis who was dressed comfortably in her attire as she sipped a cup of hot chocolate with Luna as they chatted about what's going on in their lives.

Luna: Can you believe that Finn called them the "Ultra Dudes" it was embarrassing~ I get he wants to be cool and all but sometimes he needs to tone it down a notch
Cyclonis: [chuckle] You said it
Luna: So how about you? How's the path to redeeming yourself?
Cyclonis: It's going well, I've apologized to serval people that I've hurt and now people are starting to see the good in me
Luna: That's good
Celenia: [gasp] I FOUND IT!!!!
Luna: What was she looking for?
Cyclonis: No clue, she said there was a beautiful dress she wore for her quincenera I think that's what it's called
Luna: [eyes widen] Oh~ no. Cylconis
Cyclonis: Yes
Luna: I'm gonna tell you one word and be ready to take action
Cyclonis: What?
Celenia: Ohh Luna~
Luna: Run

Cyclonis sat there as she watched Luna sprint out from her chair and make a run for it, only for her aunt to get a hold of her by her collar jacket, as Luna's nails dig into the doorframe trying to get a hold of it.

Celenia: Oh goody, perfect timing. I need to ask you something~
Luna: [high pitch] NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~

Needless to say, Luna wasn't going to be happy about this. Meanwhile the Storm Hawks were playing futbol with the Zodiacs as they split into two teams, with Radarr and Azul being the referee. It wasn't long till one by one they stopped playing soccer when they saw Luna wearing a bright blue puffy dress with lace and bejeweled skirt as Luna looked irritated by the dress as she spoke in a very unenthusiastic tone.

Luna: Guess who's having a quincenera~
Finn: Oh! I'll take one! Do you have any chicken quincenera? Trying to cut back on red meat for my lady~
Luna: You're thinking of a quesadilla
Finn: No~ a quesadilla is a traditional Latin American party celebrating a girls fifteenth birthday. Yeah!
Luna: [pout] That's a quincenera, and stop trying to learn other languages you can barley speak English
Piper: Luna, I thought you didn't want to make a big deal for your 15th birthday that you never had
Luna: I don't, but my tia's making me because it's a family tradition. I even have to wear this poofy dress she wore to her quincenera [pat] [pat]

[Everyone coughing]

Luna: I'm so not looking forward to this, I get that I never got my own quincenera but it's too much. My tia wants to give a speech, Virgo's middle brother wanna do a magic trick, and every sky knight will be there. It's humiliating
Aerrow: Not necessarily, what if we help prevent any embarrassment from happening
Virgo: Heh, good luck. My middle brother will stop at nothing to get to perform a magic trick. Unless you put him to sleep of course
Junko: Can you do that?
Virgo: You expect me to put my middle brother to sleep, because you all crazy!
Scorpio: Well we tried-
Virgo: I'll be sure to do it
Scorpio: Never mind
Piper: It would be nice to get to experience a quincenera
Finn: Yeah, get to see our girl in a beautiful gown
Junko: Plus the buffet could be delicious too
Mags: And it would be so adorable to see Luna dance with the boys
Luna: [scoff] Listen to you guys, you're just like everyone else. You want me to have a quincenera just so you can get something out of it. How selfish is that?!
Aerrow: You realize you'll get a boatload of presents, right?
Luna: [eyes widen]... [smiles] Guess who's ready to party~!!!
