Stork's Ending

Luna's P.O.V

After a few weeks from my Quincenera, I was thinking about my future and what I want to do, I looked down at the promise rings Stork and Finn gave me and remembered all the nice things they've done. I looked at the Bridge and saw the controls as I took hold of the steering wheel and thought about the day I first became Stork's Right Hand Woman, then I wandered all around the Condor to remember all the things that Stork and I did, from him providing me the stink odors for my stink bomb despite Aerrow and Mags orders to not bring any stink odors to me, even to tending to my needs when I got injured or sick. When I walked back, I sat on the couch and felt something next to me that I picked it up and admired it as it seemed to be the answer I needed.

Luna: Wow~

I got back up and walked to the controls to contact Aerrow, while taking a deep breath as I spoke to Aerrow.

Luna: Aerrow, you there?
Aerrow [Coms]: Yeah, what's up
Luna: Is Stork with you?
Aerrow: Yeah, he is. Why?
Luna: Can you send him to the Condor...

... I finally made my decision...

I waited and waited as I paced back and forth, waiting for Stork. At the time, I was feeling anxious and nervous but tried to keep my composure cool till Stork would show up. Just then, the door opened and Stork walked in looking nervous but when he saw me, he felt calm but also curious as to why he was called back here.

Luna: Hey Stork
Stork: Luna... Is something the matter? Did something break? Are the engines overheated?
Luna: [chuckles] No no... I... I made my choice. I thought Aerrow told you?
Stork: Well, when he told me that you needed me at the Condor, I thought something terrible happened to you. And the Condor
Luna: No silly, in fact the reason why I asked you here was because I chose you. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you, Stork. I talked to Finn and well, he wasn't happy but he respected my decision
Stork: You. Picked me. But what about what the others think? Won't it be strange that a human girl is dating a Merbian?

I chuckled at his silly question that I walked up to him and reached my hand out to gently caress his cheek, while he blushed and notice his tear twitch a bit.

Luna: It doesn't' matter if you're a Merbian or human, what matters is the love that grows in your heart for that someone, and I believe that you are the one. Even if you are a Merbian and I'm a human. I don't care, it doesn't bother me at all. I love you so much, and you know what gave me the sign?
Stork: My germ repellent?
Luna: [giggles] No silly. Follow me

I gently took Stork's hand as I lead him to the controls that steer the Condor, it took him a minute to register the sign when it finally hit him.

Stork: The Condor?!
Luna: Yup, but I also found this that fit the puzzle together

I brought out a photo that had me and Stork next to each other, by the controls as he had one arm around my shoulder. I was smiling while doing a heart sign with my fingers, while Stork gave me a kiss on the head in the photo.

Stork: This photo, this was taken when you first joined
Luna: When you also gave me that position as your right hand woman
Stork: Well, I really wanted you to stand by me, but you would sometimes rebel to go on an adventure
Luna: Awww, how sweet of you Stork
Stork: So~ does that mean that you and I are... official now?
Luna: [smiles] Yes Stork, you and I are official
Stork: This moment would be nice if there was music in here
Luna: But~ there isn't

Stork got a hold of a tennis ball and threw it to the record player as it played a song, and it was "Stand By Me." I smiled as he offered me his hand, and I accepted. He held me in his arms as we slow danced to the music, we were both alone at the Condor as we slow danced around the Bridge. The moment was magical as we danced the night away, the song was nearing the end that I looked up at Stork as he looked down to admire me. We both slowly leaned closer as our lips made contact, it was blissfully magical and will savor that memory.
