Chapter 68 ~ Return of the Traitor

Luna's P.O.V

Luna [Narrating]: Squadron Log, after reunited with Aerrow and my family we also met Cyclonis's parents. Though we do know one thing for sure, they have fragment memories of their past but don't remember how they died. Even as much as we want to remind them, we realized that if we do then they'll be able to crossover and we'll never see them again, so for now we need to focus on capturing Cyclonis so that Atmos and the Far Side can be from her entitlement and wrath.

The Storm Hawks and I got ready to head out and search for Cyclonis after hearing that Carver escaped from prison and Finn got a beating from Mags, not to mention him telling Capricorn to find him. I was still giggling of the fact that he went all overprotective boyfriend mode, after we geared up and headed to the location where Canary and Hawk informed us about her whereabouts.

Aerrow: Alright, we all know what needs to be done. After we capture Cyclonis, we need to trap her into the crystal prison so she sees how it feels
Storm Hawks: YEAH!!
Aerrow: And with Azul on our side, we'll have the surprise for Cyclonis she'll never expect
Stork: We're approaching the area
Aerrow: Let's get to it guys

We all walked outside of the balcony only to see what looked to be an abandoned castle, it was very eerie and almost looked like it was in ruins. We landed and got out of the Condor and into our skimmers to drive over there, however it still gave off this scary feeling that we were being watched. When we got near the gate it was no surprise that it was unlocked which could indicate that we were on the right track, we entered the castle with the help of Junko breaking the door down, we entered and looked around but found only broken furniture and cobwebs.

Junko: No sign for Cyclonis here
Piper: She has to be here, this is the only place she could hide. Right?
Aerrow: Let's split up, Mags you're with me, Piper go with Junko, Finn and Stork will go together and Luna, Radarr will go with you. We'll have Azul with us, keep your coms on and if you spot anything [looks at Luna] do not engage in anything, contact us
Luna: Why were you looking at me when you said that?
Aerrow: Because we know you
Luna: [fake gasp] You think I would rebel and fight Cyclonis on my own?
Storm Hawks: Yes
Mags: Radarr, make sure Luna doesn't do anything rebellious

Radarr saluted and I scoffed at their remark as I wandered off with Radarr on my shoulders, we wandered into the upper floor and looked around the castle.

No One's P.O.V

While the Storm Hawks split up, unknowing to them that someone was watching them from the third floor level and staring down at them in the shadows, but their eyes lingered towards Luna and began following where she wandered but stopped to see Stork and Finn wandering together in a different path along with Aerrow and Mags and glared at them. Mags stopped midway from his steps and looked back only to see nothing at all, but had a feeling that they were being watched.

Aerrow: Mags, you okay?
Mags: Umm... Yeah, it's nothing

Finn and Stork wandered through the hallways while Stork was shaking in fear but Finn had his energy crossbow ready to take out whatever it is that will pop out in front of them.

Finn: Stork, there's nothing to be scared of, you're with the Finnster, the bravest sky knight in all of Atmos
Stork: And that what scares me

Out of no where, Stork spotted something about to fall on Finn as he pushed him forward with him as well, when suddenly the object fell and missed. When the dust cleared up they both looked back and saw that it was a mace that had spikes around it landing where Finn was standing, they both swallowed their own saliva and looked at each other.
