"You think, bagay sa'kin 'to?" Tumango lang ako kay Margie habang may sinusukat na damit. Currently in a mall at namimili. Gusto ko sana siyang tanggihan kaso nang-guilt trip naman siya. Nag-promise daw ako na babawi ako the next time.

"Come on, Fei. Say a word." Napabuntong-hininga ako sa reklamo nito.

"That dress is too plain for you to wear. Yes it's pretty, but it hinders your complexion. And the color don't match your skin tone." mahabang paliwanag ko. Napa-pout naman siya at ibinalik ang dress. For sure matatagalan kami dito.

"Agh! Nakakagutom mamili. Kain tayo, Fei." aya nito. Syempre, sino ba naman ako para tumanggi. Libre naman niya kaya why not.

Inikot namin ang mall para maghanap ng makainan. And we decided to eat on Shakey's. Nakakamiss ang pizza nila dito. Been craving for this.

"Been a while since kumain tayo dito."

"Yeah."

I just ordered my usual favorite, Hawaiian pineapple pizza with lasagna partnered with iced tea. While Margie ordered lasagna only and iced tea. Diet daw siya kasi tumataba na siya, when in fact, hindi naman.

We were happy chatting when she suddenly tap the table a multiple times. "Is that your ex?"

I slowly turn just to see him laughing with another girl. Yes, he's my ex. Samuel Dela Vuega.

I sighed and looked at Margie. "Yes, and?"

"Wala lang. Inform lang kita," she said as she shrugged her shoulders. Kung hindi ko lang siya kilala, baka isipin ko na tarantadi siya eh.

Our order was served after a few minutes. I took a bite of my pizza, damn, I missed this.

"Fei?" Yeah, great wrong timing.

I look at him and acted as if I was surprised. "Oh, Sam. You're here." I looked at the girl beside her and smiled then nod at her to acknowledge her presence.

"Yeah, we were about to buy here. Alam mo na, foodtrip," he said at inakbayan ang kasama niya. I chuckled as if that was funny.

He said his goodbye to us at inaya na ang kasama niya na mag order for takeout.

"You're really fine now?" Margie asked.

Fine? Am I fine?

"Better." I answered.

Yeah, I'm better. Because that's what everyone thinks. I'm better because I'm smiling. When the truth deep inside, I'm still dying.
