After hours in the emergency room, Yoongi was finally discharged. Fortunately, the contractions had subsided, brought on by stress but not indicating labor. The doctor, noticing the deep red, almost purplish mark on Yoongi's cheek, tried to inquire about the stress he had endured. Yoongi, however, only mentioned an argument with his partner and declined any further assistance.

Namjoon and Taehyung were visibly frustrated by Yoongi's reluctance to press charges, feeling helpless in the face of his situation. They chose not to push the matter further, recognizing the additional stress it would cause Yoongi.

The doctor recommended that Yoongi stay in bed for the next few days, avoid any stress, heavy lifting, or sudden movements, and return after two days for a follow-up. He also advised that if Yoongi experienced any sharp pains or bleeding before then, he should return to the hospital immediately.

As they left the hospital, Namjoon and Taehyung flanked Yoongi protectively, their concern palpable. Namjoon's steady grip on Yoongi's arm provided a reassuring anchor, while Taehyung hovered close, ready to assist at a moment's notice.

"We're taking you home with us," Namjoon said firmly, leaving no room for argument. "You need to rest, and we want to make sure you're safe."

Yoongi, too exhausted to protest, simply nodded, grateful for their support. As they drove back, the car was silent, the weight of the evening's events hanging heavily over them.

Back at the Kims' apartment, they settled Yoongi on the couch and surrounded him with pillows for support. Taehyung brought a glass of water and some light snacks, while Namjoon gently placed a blanket over Yoongi's legs.

"You're not alone, Yoongi-shi. We're here for you," Namjoon reiterated softly, his eyes filled with determination and empathy. Taehyung nodded in agreement, his expression mirroring his brother's resolve.

Yoongi looked at them, tears welling in his eyes. For the first time in a long while, he felt a glimmer of hope. Despite the fear and uncertainty, he knew he had found allies in the Kims.

"Thank you so much for all the support you've given me," Yoongi said, his voice filled with gratitude. "I'm so sorry for putting so much stress on you, Tae. You shouldn't have to deal with this when you're also pregnant."

"Hyung, you're my friend. I would've been more stressed if you hadn't come to us for help," Taehyung replied, his eyes lingering on the dark mark marring Yoongi's cheek. "He hit you."

"I kind of provoked him," Yoongi admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.

"I'm going to grab a pack of ice." Namjoon interjected, his jaw clenched tightly.

His tone was controlled, but his anger was evident. He didn't want to delve into the matter, fearing it would only worsen Yoongi's fragile state. If it weren't for Yoongi's health, he would have given a piece of his mind about how wrong it was to hit someone, regardless of provocation.

"You can sleep in my bedroom. I'll sleep with Joonie Hyung," Tae offered.

"You don't have to. I can sleep here," Yoongi protested weakly.

"Not a chance! You need comfort and proper rest," Tae insisted, his tone brooking no argument.

As Namjoon returned with the ice pack, he gently pressed it against Yoongi's cheek, the cold seeping into the inflamed skin. "Here. This should help with the swelling," he said softly, his earlier anger replaced by concern.

Yoongi winced slightly at the contact but nodded gratefully. "Thank you, Namjoon."

Tae helped Yoongi to his feet, guiding him towards his bedroom. "Come on, Hyung. Let's get you settled," he said gently.
