Yoongi and Namjoon were the first to arrive at Hoseok's apartment. Taehyung had texted earlier, explaining that he had a sudden craving for a specific sweet that was a 20-minute drive away from Hoseok's place. Jimin was driving them there, so they would be a bit late. Hoseok was understanding, knowing how unpredictable cravings could be for someone pregnant.

That week, Hoseok had created a group chat for everyone attending the gathering, making it easier to coordinate and communicate any food allergies or dislikes to Hoseok's fiancé, who would be cooking for everyone. Yoongi was grateful for this arrangement, as it helped alleviate some of the overwhelm he felt. He had missed a lot of school work during his sick leave, and catching up had been stressful.

Yoongi hadn't interacted much with Hoseok's fiancé, Jin, and now he regretted it. As they arrived at the apartment, he was afraid to feel a bit left out during dinner since everyone else seemed to have bonded in the group chat. All he knew about Jin was his name and that he was cooking for everyone. Yoongi felt guilty for not making more of an effort to get to know him better.

Standing outside the apartment building, Yoongi took a deep breath, feeling the weight of his anxiety. Namjoon offered a reassuring smile and extended his hand to Yoongi, helping him up the staircase to the entrance. The building was in one of the wealthiest parts of Seoul, and its opulence made it clear that Hoseok was doing well.

The elevator was much more spacious and smooth compared to the one in their building. It glided effortlessly up the floors, and they barely noticed when it stopped at one of the floors for a neighbor to leave. In contrast, the elevator in their building always shook and made abrupt stops, causing them to jump with each jolt.

"I bet Taehyung is going to make a comment about this elevator as soon as he arrives," Namjoon remarked with a chuckle as they ascended, now fully alone.

"He'll probably try to convince you to move here," Yoongi replied, still processing the elegance of the building.

"What do you think?" Namjoon probed.

"About what?" Yoongi asked, puzzled.

"About the building, the location...?" Namjoon clarified.

"I mean, it's an excellent neighborhood, great building. There is not much more to say. If you like it, you could move here, I guess." Yoongi shrugged, still confused.

"I noticed a convenience store just a few meters away. There's also a bigger park a few streets behind, and the schools are just a few blocks down," Namjoon added thoughtfully.

Yoongi raised an eyebrow at the mention of schools. Only someone thinking about having children would care about that. His heart sank as he realized that Namjoon might be planning to start a family. Suddenly, all their conversations flashed back in stark clarity. Namjoon's hints were not about Yoongi or the both of them together, but about his own future plans. This realization struck Yoongi hard, and he felt a heavy sadness settle in his stomach.

"I mean, if those things matter to you, this is the perfect place to move in and build a family."

As the elevator finally arrived at their floor, Yoongi quickly stepped out, trying to hide his frustration as he headed toward Hoseok's apartment.
