I was on a cursed night. Red aurora flowing in the skies, trapping me to sleep in a hopeless state in the wastelands...

I slowly opened up my eyes, in a place where I dreamed from a nightmare, but I had been back home last night where I was the last living human from the aftermath of what scientists called the 'world destroyer' asteroid.

It left me alone in the burnt fields that once had farm land and houses, left behind by an unknown disease that wiped out nearly all of humanity, because I have the ability to sense everything, including death.

I got up to see, not a complete wasteland, there was a lone tree, and many dark brown pigs which I learned from my senses that they are actually called Hogs, but everywhere else is just dark orange ground that's bone dry.

"Ok, best I understand what's going on here." I said in a Canadian accent. The last thing I wanted to happen was to starve to death, so I closed my eyes to sense what happened.

I had sensed that somehow I ended up in a different universe. Yes, I kept the same red, white, and blue flag as well as a mini iron tower structure that was used to make the Eifels, they are mini structures that increase the range of our senses, we had a lot of them back home until floods of magma, water and then the asteroid destroyed all of the Eifels, reducing our range of our enhanced senses.

I also had a few blue decorations, which I removed them from myself and hung them at the tree to remind me of the last time I had happiness in the previous life in my home universe.

I also used the same flag and small iron structure to increase my range.

well, I thought it would before a mysterious pale white energy that never happened before suddenly caused the iron tower and flag to disintegrate into dust. That was when I sensed a phoenix communicating with me.

It's Ok Katelin, we have used some of our powers to extend your enhanced senses to have a long range. Now, use those senses to what you desire reasonably.

OK... that was just the weird but OK.

So after that, I used my senses to find anyone out there. Turns out that there were many other people. One sailed in a small wooden boat, many in a modern city, and someone who is currently farming and felt nearly alone.

"Best I visit him and see what's going on?" I said to myself before drinking a potion of endurance and speed before running as fast as I could.

Oh, I also make potions for a living as well as keeping some for myself. I also kept a book on how to make potions in my big dress pocket. Well, that was before the World destroyer asteroid was discovered and caused cults and partly destroyed my stall for potions.

Who knows what will happen, but one thing is for sure. I was beginning a new life in Maria.

My new home...
