Katelin's point of view.

Yesterday...

It was several hours since the World destroyer asteroid had hit this once thriving world of magic,  life, and fantasy.

Now it was a total wasteland with many people dead from the World destroyer, whilst others died from each others hands due to the fact that there were no consequences enforced because everyone was panicking about the World destroyer asteroid was was going to hit our world and also because the world council only helped themselves, so they definitely suffered karma for what they had done.

And here I am, walking around the ruins of my former life in peace, tranquility, and being alone. There were ruined buildings, little to no plant life, and another person throwing up near where a rock was.

I rushed over to that person when he quickly turned and grabbed hold of my left arm. His arm felt dusty, and his weight was getting lighter and lighter in every second he grabbed hold of me. His face was a mess and tearful.

"Help me please, I am going to soon disappear." He was hysterically scared when he said those words. I tried to remove his grip when I saw something horrible.

He was slowly turning into dust.

He got his other arm to where my right shoulder was.

"Please, I don't want to go..." But he couldn't finish his sentence as was then turned in a dust cloud, causing me to cough for a few seconds before I realise something terrible.

The World destroyer asteroid was a punishment for what the world council did to the anyone not aligned to the world council, but the world destroyer asteroid had decided that to punish the world council, our whole world must be punished for what the world council did.

That realisation was enough to make me want to sit down cry for mercy, but I guess that the universal gods don't show sympathy to those who mock them and make fun of them for the last laugh.

But the universal gods had the last laugh because while I was sitting down where the rock was that the person disappeared into dust nearby, I began to think that I wished I had a second chance at life, to live a better life than this, to be able to see the light again.

The next thing I knew, I would end up collapsing on the floor, as I began to slowly turn into dust...

I woke up to a land that was similar to the rocky apocalyptic landscape that the World destroyer astroid has bought us, but the ground had small variation of sunflowers that are a size of a small flowers, trees that are far away from every other tree, blue skies and even a brown pig family with a mother, father and a daughter.

It was weird since several seconds ago, I was in a dry, cracked ground, with no plant life or civilisation, red skies, and people dying. So that means I had actually made my wish come true for me, and I could start again with a fresh start in my life.

I got out a tiny iron tower and began to use my magic to extend the range of what my enhanced senses have detected. That was when I was using my magic that I realised too late that they were much stronger than I thought.
