Mystia's point of view

It was the day of the village contest, and this time, we were up against the second largest empire in the wasteland, the solar citadel. Father has been angrier lately due to his territory being taken away from the solar citadel. The solar citadel was formed a year ago, so this was going to keep King Oranji on his toes for a while.

As the crowd of people gather around the rough area where the village contest will take place, the ten knights, one half from the dark kingdom, the other half from the solar citadel, got their swords sharpened and their armour in top shape.

The referee from Psychic City got to his microphone to begin the village contest.

Referee: "Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce that the village contest... BEGINS!!!"

And so the 5 on 5 battle begins...

The knights first have to go through an assault course race, which consists of movable mud tracks, wooden obstacles, and a combat robot from Psychic City before they get to the finish line.

The first dark kingdom knight got to the finish, no surprise there. Father, happy of that.

In the horse fighting event, however, the solar citadel knight took a few minutes of evading before dealing a few blows, defeating our first knight, both in a draw.

In the sudden death match, the knights must get to five points by hitting the opponent's helmet hit by a sword five times to win.

The match was intense for 15 minutes because of how close it was, but the solar citadel outclassed our first knight by one hit.

This made Father very angry, and I guess our second knight saw the mood on Father because on both the assault course race and horse fighting events, he got in the squad match final.

Our third knight was slower than that third solar citadel knight. Father was about to lose hope for our third knight when the combat robot that this third solar citadel knight was tiring out from the combat robot.

Although our third knight lost the assault course race. Our third knight managed to get in the squad match final in just 15 minutes from the last two games, both in and out.

However, our last two knights couldn't make in the squad match final, and now we're in the squad match final with two of our knights taking on three solar citadel knights.

This match is basically like the sudden death match, but it takes three hits to each knights helmet that they are out for 3 minutes.

To win the match for territory, they have to deal 100 hits to the opponent team's banner they are defending.

At this point, the match to me was a drag, but Prince Murasaki and my father, King Oranji, were on their edge of their seats. I have been distracted by what was bothering me.

What was bothering me was how is it that no one has fun inside the dark kingdom city, what will the people see me as, and what's with my mother's death happening inside the Lowland castle

It was starting to drag me down mentally, so I decided not to go down those rabbit holes and pulled back to reality. When I did, it turned turned out that our third knight was 10 sword hits close to defeating our opposition kingdom, but the three solar citadel knights were getting close to stopping our third knight.

9... two of the solar citadel knights were getting close...

8... the last solar citadel knight blocked our second knight from helping our other knight...

7... our third knight looked back to see one of two solar citadel knights swing at his head...

6... our third knight dodged the solar citadel knight attack and swang his sword side by side three times, confusing and defeating the defending solar citadel knight...

5... the other solar citadel knight swing his sword...

4... the solar citadel knight got the first hit...
3... Our third knight took the second hit...

2.. our third knight took the third hit and was out, disappointing nearly all the villagers.

The citadel knight was pushed back to his own banner...

1... Our second knight angrily took down the last solar citadel knight, and...

0...

We have managed to keep the village, but judging by the celebration from my father and the depressing disappointment from the solar citadel king, I don't think I could really handle what just happened, but I decided to just hide what made me fed up and instead just sheepishly smiled and began clapping to our major victory. After all, it was a supplier to our iron for our buildings, weapons, and armour.

Soon after we left, I decided to head over to Psychic City to see what I could find. That's fun. Of course, I can't go to places that are too hot or too cold. It has to be just right, and that reader is the reality of becoming a prince or princess of a kingdom.

So I went to the ink colour district to a music studio called vocal X notice board screen. It turns out that every Thursday just at 2 PM, there is a singing club.

Well, I never had anything planned on Thursday because I would usually read a lot of books and get bored. So, I guess I'll be heading over there every Thursday.

???: "So you're planning to go to the Vocal X singing club, princess of darkness?" The voice sounds demonic, so I turned around and seen a tough looking SWAT robot.

"How did you know?" I asked the robot.

"Well, as the Enforcer, just like other humans, I do something in my spare time, hence why we make our own songs with music. And there's an upcoming festival that will celebrate 10th Psychic City day on the 2nd of February, year 10. And those people are going to showcase their singing."

I said to the robot, "Thanks, I'll be there."

The Enforcer nodded before walking away.
"Farewell, princess of darkness..."

And with that, as I started to head back to the city of the dark kingdom, I picked up a bottle of honey and finished it off before putting the empty bottle in the recycling bin...
