Ariqa's quest: Origins of Maria

Chapter 2, part 3

[Arbour's point of view]

The Iron Hawk was so charged up that it sparked out tiny indigo lightning bolts from both energy orb cannons and its mouth when...

It was shoved with such force that it fell to the ground in front of me and exploded with such force that lifted me from the ground and into the hands of her.

[Katelin's point of view]

I splashed the purple potion that created a healing energy shield for three minutes, so I won't have to worry about him while I tried to take down the machine.

The machine got back up in the air, but it was struggling to stay up steadily because one of its wing mounted fans was damaged and couldn't move, leading to the left fan to work twice as hard.

It wasn't the only thing damaged by me. The machine gun was jammed, and in its centre was exposing a medium-sized green tank.

It seems like it's the beating heart of the machine.

But before I could react, the machine's heart then started to heal the centre and broken wing-mounted fan via the green substance that powers the machine. This, in turn, has recovered the flying machine back to its original state,  but the Indigo lightning coming out its mouth transitioned into blue lightning energy. I don't know if it's good or not, but I was still fighting against it.

The machine then used the machine gun to fire blue energy orbs instead of the tiny, gold ammunition used against the Lumberjack at a rapid rate. It took a bit of effort to evade the energy orbs, but I was able to get close enough to used a potion of strength to rip out the centre armour from the machine and expose the core where the green core is.

Unfortunately, the machine used its wing where its secret hands grabbed hold of my back and body slammed me head first into the ground and that was really painful. The machine then started to punch me really hard and fast with each punch being like a brick wall falling onto me one after another.

But for each hit I took, the more intense my magic became, until the intensity of my recently acquired magic had completely snapped the left hand of the machine, the machine investigated the damage while I retreated only to see that the centre armour had fully recovered. 

As the machine looked back at me, I saw the snapped left hand reform with a silvery saliva for a second before the left hand was fully formed like nothing ever happened to it. The machine then goes to use its big energy cannons to shoot out yellow energy orbs as I evade them carefully, but as I went for the machine...

A direct hit from my back caught me off guard and turned just as I got hit to realise that it was too late to dodge the second energy orb. I got hit by the second energy orb less painfully because I was preparing to take the hit. As I rolled over, the machine was hovering its right hand over me.

The machine's head was suddenly attacked by the axe side of the Lumberjack with his axe and hoe multi tool. The machine whirls in mindless circles as the Lumberjack kept hitting it with the axe with the hoe attached until the machine grabs hold of the Lumberjack's back with its left hand.

As the machine looks at the Lumberjack, I started to snap the whole left wing where it also had the Lumberjack held. The machine then proceeds to sweep my legs and caused me to fall down, dropping the left, broken wing and the left, broken wing to detach the Lumberjack.

The machine during the 10 second mini event both me and the Lumberjack had, the machine was able to use the time to heal its whole left wing with the same silver saliva. As the machine got ready to shoot the energy and bullet machine gun. Its electrifying mouth and eight mini eyes turned into pure, raging red.

As the machine got ready to defeat the both of us, the back of the head was suddenly attacked by a motorised saw attached to a metal pole. The motorised saw began to cut deeply into the head of the machine. The user looked like a mixture of a anime human and a bee with a stinger partially covered by a black and yellow striped dress, insect legs, four human arms and four bee hands and short, tidy white hair.

As the machine's centre armour explodes to reveal the green core which ran out of the green substance, I lunged at the core and ripped it out from the machine, causing the machine to collapse towards me and the Lumberjack.

The machine was now lying flat on the ground. The Lumberjack looked up, the bee human hybrid looked at me.

She was not happy, and the Lumberjack looked worried.

Lumberjack: "Shit!"
