Spectra's point of view
It had been quite a while since anyone stepped out of line.
Sure, we did negotiate with another person who says that he is the mayor of a future town called Quebrantar, which we had to make posts around the red tape done by the thee leaders of the Freelance Guild, but whilst for the last 15 years there were a few minor incidents.
The latest incident was so bad that my own sister, Sunflower Hive, called me an idiot and I was called by my mother to the Royal Hive.
I'm not a bee therian that really gets into guesswork and seeking Royalty, but now I was back in the Royal Hive, 21 years after being in the Royal Hive when I was 18 and wanted to work with the worker bees.
The inside the Hive was sticky, but we were bees, so it wasn't a problem to walk on whilst the walls and ceiling were some hexagonal patterns in different art styles.
The throne was in the center of the Hive, where I was looking at the back of the luxurious throne chair that my mother was sitting on.
Queen bee Haibu Hive: "Do you know why I called you there, idiot!"
The throne chair started to slowly rotate clockwise. I was being to cry.
Me: "Please don't call me an idiot! it's just that I wasn't aware of what happened! The post would have spotted what had happened during that time!"
The throne chair stopped, and my mother was facing the right wall and not looking at me. Uncle Mattew was also there on the right side of the throne chair as well as many bees on the side walls, all of which were not impressed with me.
Mattew looked at me and spoke sternly.
"Do you remember the oath that you repeated after me when you were 18?"
I wiped my tears and spoke with composure.
"To those who work, serve, and live by the hive creates a future for generations to come... And to those who have been lazy, abusive, and idiotic to the hive get punished."
My mother then turned the throne chair once again to go clockwise, and every bee pointed at me.
Queen bee Haibu Hive: "Give me one reason why I shouldn't have to demote you from being a commander of the Spectra program!"
I then started to get a little upset as the bees on the side wall chants, "Idiot! Idiot! Idiot!"
They continued to chant at me as more.and more tears came out of me, bringing back thoughts of the darkness in one incident when one bee was bitten by a cursed face who managed to get away thanks to the same bee who was bitten exploding into magma orange blood splattered all over the manufacturing Hive.
I wasn't blamed for that last major incident, but whatever happened, I shouted out in complete anger.
"BECAUSE I'll KILL WHO EVER STOLE OUR ONLY FOOD SOURCE!!!"
This shocked everyone in this Hive. The Bees on the side walls gasped as they stopped pointing at me, Uncle Mattew's mouth was shut, but his eyes were widened with shock.
Even my mother stopped her throne chair directly, and for the first time in my life, she actually looked directly at me. She had a very concerning face like I was threatening her.
Everyone was silent for a moment until my sister, whom I couldn't see because she was in the back of the hive and spoke.
"I know that some pesky human or therians planned this. But finding them, arresting them, and straight up murdering them in cold blood..."
Everyone was looking worried, even my mother directly looked at her.
"... Actually came from the warning to an attempted thief a few years ago."
Me: "What!?" I couldn't believe what she just said that I didn't know.
Sunflower Hive: "Well. While you were away, collecting pollen for our honey, a Viper guild member tried to steal from honey storage Hive one where we warned him that if he or his chain of command attempted to steal again, we would privately execute them."
Queen bee Haibu Hive sighed.
Sunflower Hive: "So here's the proposal. If we can find what is causing the demand of honey then we can privately execute them or if they are a nation, declare war on them, bringing a quick end to the honey war they brought themselves to."
My mother thought for a moment.
It was nerve wreaking with her pause being unusually longer.
My mother continued to think.
She then finally answered.
"Spectra..."
Me: "Yes, your majesty?"
Queen Bee Haibu Hive: "Find whoever did this, and you'll be prompted.
I saluted my mother.
Me: "Yes, your majesty!"
Queen bee Haibu Hive: "Repeat after me...
To those who work, serve, and live by the hive creates a future for generations to come..."
"To those who work, serve, and live by the hive creates a future for generations to come." I repeat back.
Queen bee Haibu Hive: "To those who have been lazy, abusive, and idiotic to the hive get punished."
"To those who have been lazy, abusive, and idiotic to the hive get punished." I repeat back.
Queen bee Haibu Hive: "To those who help, cooperate, and fight with the hive will be part of our common cause."
"To those who help, cooperate, and fight with the hive will be part of our common cause." I repeat back.
Queen bee Haibu Hive: "To those who hinder, fight, or declare war against the hive will suffer from our wrath."
"To those who hinder, fight, or declare war against the hive will suffer from our
wrath." I repeat back.
My mother smiled, "Good."
One bee from the left side wall said, "Hey! I didn't remember the last two you repeated part of the oath!"
My mother suddenly looked pissed with anger as she got up and had her antenna pointed at him.
The questionable bee waves his arms out, panicking.
The questionable bee: "No! Please!!" Don't!!!"
My mother snapped her finger at her left hand.
Suddenly, the questionable bee then got stabbed on each side to his chest by the two bees standing next to him.
The magma orange blood splattered to the bees that cut the sides of his chest before steadily leaking out from the questionable bee.
His head suddenly explodes into a headless bee with an exposed neck bone, flesh, and a bloody orange mess on the wall. The bleeding from both the sides and neck continued for a few seconds before being sealed up, thanks to him turning into a dead stone statue.
Caused by a gunshot...
... From me!
Queen bee Haibu Hive: "It is part of the oath now!"
The two days later, in the evening in Mystia's bedroom...
Northstar's point of view
Mystia: "Wait a minute? I accidentally drank a bottle of honey from the Beehive village?
I tried to keep Mystia calm, which, by the way, she was communicating with me in my head whilst I was taking the first bus to the spot where I get my second bus to college.
I spoke to her telepathically.
"It is not your fault that it happened. It was just a coincidence that it happened."
Mystia asked: "Do you think the bees will capture me as with you having visions of the future?"
Me: "Unfortunately, I don't really know what your future will be, but I do advise is that you don't drink any more honey bottles until the bees either lose a potential war, or find that they have too much honey and sell some. However, it will take time."
Mystia sighed before getting her hair sorted.
Mystia: "You do realise that you are nearly at your stop?"
I looked up and pressed the button to stop at where my desired bus stop was.
Me: "Thanks Mystia, speak to you later?"
Mystia nodded.
Mystia: "See you later."
With that, my bus came to a complete stop at my bus stop I needed, got up from my seat, and got out of the bus...
