Blane Orson.
__________She is so aggravating, I'm not surprised a man hasn't went after her.
The song ends, and we exchange looks at each other before departing.
Luckily for her knowledge, I have girls lining up on my doorstep. But who needs a girl to give you happiness, I have happiness and all she done was put it away.
Me and my family step outside and wait for our limousine, when it pulled up we immediately got in.
" Why we're you talking to Aliyah Rain, Blane? " My father takes a swig of his whiskey. " I didn't know it was her, or I would've not spoken. "
" Bull, you knew exactly who she was and you still had contact with her! Do you know what that looks like for us? You are a disgrace to this family, you have made every single one of us look horrible! "
" You should be ashamed of yourself, Blane. Me and your mother are very disappointed in you. "
My mother doesn't even bother to look up at me, she stares into her lap. It's not that my father is a bad one, it's the alcohol he consumes on a daily basis.
I nod, " I'm sorry. It won't happen again, father. " He looks at me with disgust. " You better bet it won't, because wait till we arrive at home. "
Wishing to the God above, that we'd like break down in the forest or something. I knew that would never happen, but it was a hope.
Pulling up our driveway, we head in. Not even a second, closing the door a fist is in my face. I don't even bother to fight.
I know what happens if I fight back, or try to defend myself.
A hand grips my throat pushing me against the wall, " Ezra, put him down. He said he wouldn't let it happen again. " My mother watches.
He shakes his head and grunt throwing his hand down, and storming off into his office.
My mother examines my face and neck, " Maybe a slight bruise, just head up to your room. "
I nod and make a straight-shot to it, hearing my siblings laughing while playing in there room. Smiling slightly, while I pause in the hallway.
Starting up my pace again, I reach my room and shut the door. My mind races with thoughts of tonight, she's an idiot.
Taking a shower before bed, I throw on some pajama pants and leave my chest bare.
Closing my eyes, for hours on the end I try to fall asleep but nothing works. Suddenly my door creeks open, the light from the hallway dims in. " Lane? "
My baby sister, whose 5 calls out. She can't say my name right, her B's are completely messed up. I raise up, " You okay? "
" Can I sleep with you tonight? I had a nightmare of a monster. " She holds her stuffed bear.
She's truly the only person I care for. " Yeah come on, Bean. " She crawls into the bed, right into my arms.
I wrap my arms loosely around her, she puts her head directly in the crook of my neck.
Before minutes, she falls asleep instantly. With the comfort of her, I drift off as well. Thankfully, I slept all the way till morning.
___________________________________My door bursts open and I immediately raise up, " Hurry and get dressed, someone broke in early this morning and stabbed your father in the side of his chest. "
I could care less, if it wasn't for my mother freaking out I wouldn't have gotten up and called one of trusted friends to come watch the rest of my siblings.
I know she didn't want to be alone, especially with her husband dying.
They met at 18, an arranged marriage that started off wonderful. Over time, she claimed my father went through unimaginable things. Which led to his overly drinking pattern.
As soon as she gotten here, my and my mother drove at to one of the richest and secretive hospitals. She had mostly been staring out the window, and fiddling with her hands till we arrived.
My mind crosses with the fact that Aliyah Rain, was angry that night. Which led me to think this was her doing.
We sit in the waiting room, for hours until they come out announcing that my was father was indeed alive. The stupid bastard is to stubborn to die, I'm telling you.
My mother goes back into the room, I continue to sit outside. My phone rings, I answer it thinking it's the babysitter.
" Seen what I done, huh?" Her voice rings through my head. " I knew it was you, Lemon. " I clutch my phone in hand.
" How'd you get my number, Stalking much? " I wait for her response which I knew for a fact was gonna be snarky.
" You wish I'd stalk you, your too boring for that. " She moves something, as I hear from the background.
" You'd be surprised, Lemon. " I stare around the waiting room.
" Yeah right, how is he doing? " The room goes silent. " Alive, you had one chance and you sucked ay it. "
" I wasn't aiming to kill him, just a little scare. " She continues to move things.
" You didn't scare me, Lemon. Lucky for you, I wish he was dead. It wouldn't hurt me a single bit." I rearrange myself in the uncomfortable seat.
" It's your father. " She lets out a deep breathe from what I presume she finished moving.
" Just because he's family, doesn't mean he deserves my love. " I say lowly. She stays silent for a minute, " Well, as much as I know you'd 'love' to keep talking to me. I have things to do, bye now. "
" Bye, Lemon. "
